86: A Poem for Brian On the Occasion of His 30th A remarkable fellow is Brian Of his lineage a most worthy scion. For his mom and his dad And his relatives myriad... He's a regular family lion! How wondrous indeed That his very sharp mind Is attached to a heart So infallibly kind! And how well does he nurture His God-give life. Enjoying sports outdoors With his dear sporty wife! His choices are wise Whether working or playing, Putting angels on trees, Or shoring up friends By whatever he's saying. But the shining event That will make us all glad Is when Brian, Oh Brian! Will become a dad! | With love from his grandma-in-law, Grams Author's note: With a little artistic license on the pronunciation of "relatives," and "myriad," (emphasis on the final syllables) and "outdoors" (emphasis on first syllable) this may be fun to read. Hope so!
87: Brian, When we think of you, two things stand out among many that make you adored; your smile and your enormous heart. Smiling from ear to ear at every turn, your wide grin is contagious. We admire your outlook of life; rarely (if ever) have we seen you let a bad day disrupt that positive spirit. Your heart is huge. One of the first times we met you, we saw your love for Jocelyn and her family with the Christmas angel you made. The angel proudly sits each year on top of the Woolies beautiful tree. You will be a wonderful dad, with your legacy continuing as a thoughtful, caring, and loving friend, husband and son. Happy Birthday Brian!
