1: In July 2010, our family took a trip of a lifetime to Ireland. We met cousins from all sides of the family, traveled the country, met lots of cousins and found the homes of both the Hallisey family and the O'Driscoll family. Our time in Dublin included touring the pubs, the Guiness factory and a city bus tour showcasing the entire city from the top of an open double decker bus. Our special hosts, Kathleen and Frank Ward and Cathy and Dave Hamilton ensured our time in Ireland went off without a hitch.

30: Mary Hallisey came to the United States when she was 19 years old. This small farm house was her home until she moved to New York. We found it in the woods, thanks to the work of our cousin, Colm Langford. Colm searched and mapped out directions to the home and sent them to us before we arrived. We got up early on Saturday morning and borrowed some "wellies" and began our trek into the forest. We met a nearby homeowner who offered to guide us through the woods to the little house. When we first saw it in the distance, we all were amazed at its simple beauty. The trees were all grown up around it and the roof was gone but the fireplace remained. The two small rooms that formed the inside of the house must have made for a cozy dwelling. We left some notes hidden under the front porch stones for some future generations to find.
