S: JACK AND ME Katie Reilly
BC: Katie Reilly considers all children precious miracles; however, because her grandson Will was born 3 1/2 months premature at a startling weight of 1lb.9oz., she calls him 'a miracle' with added dimension. After five operations and 97 days in the hospital, not only did he survive, but Will continues to thrive, to grow and to bring light and joy to every space in which he enters. Now 4-years-old, Will is a reminder of the power of prayer. His life is a testament to the unconditional love of his parents, the devotion of the NICU medical teams at Boston's Brigham and Women's and The Children's Hospitals, and, of course, the love of his best friend, Jack. In celebration, with gratitude, Katie Reilly has written Jack & Me with all proceeds benefiting the NICU's at the Brigham and Womens' and The Children's Hospitals, Boston, Massachusetts.
