S: All About Janet

FC: Janet Margaret Hann November 10, 1970

1: Janet Margaret Hann | We were so happy and surprised the day you were born A girl, at last I could hardly believe it when the doctor told me I never thought it would happen You were so pretty, and very red The boys came to the hospital to see you They were so excited they had a sister! This was one of the happiest days of my life. Mom

2: I was born in Cambridge Hospital, even though we lived in Chelsea. I came home to 3 brothers. Boy, I had quite a challenge ahead of me! Mom gave me my first doll for Christmas. She bought me lots of dresses too.

3: When I was expecting you I had some pains around the area of my liver and some spotting. I went to the doctor and he ran some tests. He called your Dad and I in for a meeting. He said my liver would give out if I continued the pregnancy and the baby and I would die. He advised I get an abortion. I asked him when I would have a problem and he said at about 7 months. I told him no, I would continue the pregnancy. Then he told me chances are the baby would be retarded. I still said no, no abortion. A few weeks later, he did more tests and told me the baby had died. He said I would eventually loose the baby. I waited and waited thinking I was carrying a dead baby. I prayed harder than I ever prayed. I waited 6 weeks. I felt the baby was getting bigger! I called the doctor and told him. He said, "Well, I'm not God!" I was so upset, I went straight to Cambridge Hospital, Emergency Center and asked to be seen. Dr. McGovern checked me and thought I was on drugs. He checked my arms and even under my tongue for needle marks. Then he listened to the baby's heart. He heard the heartbeat, everything was fine. Your Dad worked with someone that knew of a good doctor so Dad set me up with an appointment. Guess what! It was Dr. McGovern. He apologized profusely. I am so glad I did not listen to the first doctor, we never would have had you! Mom

Only a daughter will lend you a shirt, Help you get moved, share a dessert, Not say a word unless asked for advice--- Only a daughter who's nice. 33: Ever wonder why God gives us two? A right hand to show the left what to do. One ear to listen and one to hear the problems of others, their laughter and fears. One eye to watch and one to behold the beautiful treasures that life has to hold. One foot to travel and one to stand tall. Two feet to land on if we should fall. One man to stand by a woman's side; One woman to cherish being his bride. The love between partners comes shining through and that is the reason God has made two. | Ryan Kramer enters the picture
