FC: JON DIDIER | spectacles & oddities | select works from 2008 to 2011
1: The following pieces were conceived between the Fall of 2008 and September of 2011. I have selected these particular works to dually serve as a representation of my portfolio as well as my collection of Spectacles & Oddities. While much of this art was pulled from different time periods, methods of working, and content/subject matter, I feel that this title is the cohesive umbrella that unites this body of artwork. The works included in this book are as follows, but are not limited to: Man's Ascent, The Ghost of Self-inflicted Catharsis, Expulsion, Clockwork is Relative, Fleeting Gods, Uncomfortable Derivation, The Field Plower, Crutch: Not a Nod, Run-in with the Ground, Collapse, At Least the Light's on, Apocalyptica, Elevation/Declination, The Age of Susceptibility, Laborious Limerick, Anatomical Decline, Loss of Brain Waves, Life Source, The Field Workers, and The Carpenter. For more information on upcoming art shows, new artwork and works for sale, please visit: www.jondidierart.com or e-mail firstname.lastname@example.org for more information. This book is dedicated to my friends and family, God, coffee, and anyone who has supported my artistic endeavors over the years. Thank you. -Jon Didier | a message from the artist... | a short biography... | Born in Tampa, FL, Jon Didier has been making artwork since his early childhood.
