FC: Year in Review Onyszczak 2011
Dear Family and Friends, 2011 Turned out to be a great year for our family. 2010 was a year of big changes and we thought 2011 would bring us rest and time to adjust to our new life together. We were wrong 2011 brought us more change. Kaleb started school, Nick got a new position at Nicor Gas and Trish graduated from college. We got new callings in the church which have kept us busy (Nick as ward executive secretary and Trish as 1st counselor in the Relief Society). We also found time to buy a new house and travel all over the east coast with mom and dad Chapin) while Kaleb spent part of his summer in Texas with his Dad. It has been anything but relaxing this year, but we really wouldn't have it any other way. | Nick and I celebrated our 1 year wedding anniversary in July (although we spent it 2800 miles apart) and life couldn't be better. Kaleb has settled in to a new life here in Chicago and has made some pretty great friends. Nick and I also have enjoyed the company of new found friends and love having a home where we can entertain more often. We are grateful for the opportunities we have been given this year and the outpouring of blessings that we have received. We are thankful for a loving Heavenly Father who continues to guide us as we draw closer unto him and put our trust in his hands. We are thankful for our family and friends and wish you all a great 2012!
We started the new year with a big snow storm, better known as Snowpocalypse"2011. It was fantastic and a fun start to the new year but it was A LOT of work to shovel all that snow. Kaleb refused to have anything to do with the mounds of snow that towered over him, so there are no awesome action shots of Kaleb playing in the snow. There is something pretty neat about the quietness and stillness that comes after a huge snow storm. Everything covered in white and people helping each other to shovel and dig out. This was definitely a great memory.

Kaleb | Kaleb brings our home so much joy. He loves to make us laugh and to be the center of attention. He also never stops talking He is great at math, a great leader and makes friends easily. Everyone who meets this kid, adores him
Kaleb experienced his first day of Kindergarten, a fractured elbow, a trip to Texas, a summer in Idaho with his cousins, learning to swim, another new house, becoming great at wii games, beginning to read, showing off his hip=hop moves, going to the zoo, climbing on tanks at Cantigny park, playing with friends and just being an awesome 5 year old. He loves super heroes, music, trio blocks, imaginext and sonic the hedgehog. He also loves to ride his bike, play at the park, play sports, watch movies and play by himself for hours. He's feisty, snuggly, hot tempered, stubborn, hilarious, super sweet & the greatest blessing in our lives.
While Kaleb was in Texas, mom and dad Chapin flew out to experience the East Coast with us. It was the greatest trip and we saw so much. We went to D.C., Philly, Rhode Island, Palmyra, New York City, Kirtland and Niagara Falls.
