FC: POETRY MIXBOOK by: AHNAF AHMED
1: My Mother's kitchen Inside the kitchen there's a sink.Just slightly above it there are curtains that are slightly pink. Look over the corner and there's the stove. And its usually cooking something my mother knows we'll loathe. It's supposed to be healthy. but the taste of it is gonna freeze and then melt me. But It's those green pile of leaves, that my mother loves to cook, that are gonna make me believe that I won't ever get Lou Gehrig's disease. Open up the freezer and you'll see some dead frozen fish that might soon become alive. After looking at you would rather take your chances eating a beehive. but the oven is usually baking something loving. Those brownies will you make start pushing and shoving . Whenever my mom starts cooking, my grandmother comes in and starts looking. She gives some advice and then a cup of rice. My grandmother is always complementing that fish smells so good. If you ask someone else, they'll say that it smells like a dead rat from the hood. My mother kitchen is a place of dreadful healthy food. But to say it to her would be just so rude. It's an ordinary place. And far from being a disgrace.

5: Language Arts Oh Language Arts, Where do I start? You and I have nothing alike. So i would like to tell you to take a hike. Get on your bike and go wherever you like. Just don't take me with you. Or else I'll sue. Your assignments are long and boring. When I do greek roots, don't be surprised if I'm snoring. The books you make me read are so old. I know this is bold, but truth be told, those authors have long been dead. Is it wrong what I just said? Language Arts, you're not all that bad. The words you teach add more than I had. You increase my knowledge and will help me in college. i don't always think that you are a devil. You are the only reason that I'm civil. The only reason I don't like you Is because you repeat the same thing, and make it harder too. With all of these assignments and a quiz almost every other day What else can I say? Language Arts you are trying your best But I need a rest. The work you gave me was hard. But, this isn't the last card. Don't take it personally, those harsh words Was just the frustration of a nerd.
