25: The 2 Things Andrea Loves Most? Bieber & Skulls :) | Katie- I enjoyed every second working with you in the outfield. You’re a real gamer, always be that way! Courtney- Keep updated with your Country Music! You know I will test you next time I see you! :) ~Coach Andrea | Courtney- I was only able to meet and work with you catching for a short time. You have a very big heart, and passion for the game of softball. What I will miss most is your prayers after practice & games. Best of luck after graduation. Congratulations, Coach Greg
26: Katie, you have been a great teammate these past two years. Thanks for all yoursassy comments and giving me some laughs! You & Calvin will be missed!! Court, always stay a tough country girl! These last two years wouldn't have been as much fun without you! Good luck with everything you do! You will be missed! ~Hannah Katie, my first impression of you was you where going to be a tuff person to crack. I was wrong, we seemed to understand each other right away. If I could ever coach 9 players with your drive, and positive attitude I would never have to worry about having a bad day ever. It has been my pleasure getting to know you in this short amount of time. Keep striving to be the best you can be. Life will lead you down right road. Congratulations, Coach Greg
27: Katie, Words can’t describe how both happy and sad I am to see you go! You are my first baby to go! :) You played your 4 years at Concordia, 3 of those playing for me, where I had the opportunity to see you grow, and continue to elevate yourself. I learned so much from you about where Concordia Softball had been, where we needed to go and how we were going to go about getting there! More importantly, I learned the true value of commitment, dedication and loyalty through you. This road was never easy for you, a road many would have veered from long ago, but you stayed the course! Now don’t get me wrong, I know not all of it you enjoyed, the work-outs in particular you hated with a passion. But there is no doubt after a year or two of trying to squirm your way around them, you decided your Senior year to dig your heels in and gut thru it all! Our record may not reflect your greatness, but I hope more than anything else you walk away knowing that Concordia Softball will forever be greater because you stayed and gave it your all! Teams have to throw their “Ace” and start their best to beat us and that is a true testament to the high standard you have set in our program. I am so proud of you as a woman on and off the field. CJ, better watch out, your no passive housewife! :) You are a strong, independent, intelligent woman that will go far in life in whatever it is you decide to do. Never settle, never stop looking for the obstacle to overcome or ladder to climb. Thank you for your blood, sweat and tears it has been my pleasure to have shared the last three years of my life with you! May the Lord Bless your life and your future and your upcoming marriage! Courtney- That pretty smile I saw in the gym the day the first day I met you, totally undermined the future “Beast” I would see in you behind the plate! :) From day one you were thrown right into the fire and had a tough role to fill, but you handled it with the beauty and grace we now know and love about Courtney. I am so sad to see you go, I wish you had more time to spend in my van, in the gym, on the field, in our dugout, and in our hearts! You are a stud on the field and a gem off it. I’ve told you before but want you to remember, “You have an amazing gift. You have an infectious personality, people are attracted to you like a magnet, you have the ability to influence others for good or for bad. I pray that you find a way to unite what makes you happy, with your power for people.” I know your dream is to marry some rich guy but your too great of a person to ride a man’s coat tail, you have an intangible gift that so many would die to have! :) Thank you for your blood, sweat and tears it has been my pleasure to have shared the last two years of my life with you! May the Lord bless you, your future, and those whom you share it with! Love, Coach Young
