1: A trip to Coffeyville over Memorial Day weekend began our summer of travels and adventures. | Kansas

4: 4th of July Weekend Kearney puts on the best fireworks show around! The Walkers joined us for the fun!
5: Polk City The girls spent a hot week at FAB camp. Grandma & Grandpa came to watch the performance. The girls were great! | Saylorville Lake
6: Sally Our very own Cat in the Hat. | Sally practices her CPR skills on George. | (This isn't funny. Why do these people hate me?) | I want out!
7: Indianola National Balloon Festival
8: Adventureland! Hannah and Elizabeth most like to ride the Silly Silo, Falling Star, and DerFlinger!
10: Kearney Poppy's Birthday | Gramma's meals were yummy, we played lots of games, and their corn was at least 10 feet tall!
11: St. Louis This trip was to celebrate August birthdays: Hannah, Katie, and Jacob!
12: It just isn't summer without BASEBALL! | the famous SAN DIEGO CHICKEN made us laugh | cutest baseball fans ever!
13: The I-cubs give us our baseball fix | we met cubbie bear the girls were members of the knothole gang
14: FINALLY, OUR 1ST GAME AT THE "NEW" BUSCH STADIUM! | The kids got stan musial bears. | we got to see albert pujols hit a home run in his last season as a ST Louis cardinal. to end the season they won the world series!

17: For Hannah's 12th birthday, Gramma & Poppy came to visit, she got a cell phone, we went to the Iowa State Fair, and she had a bowling party!
18: Wyoming | In September, Elizabeth, Hannah, Erin, David, Sherry, and Bruce loaded up the van and set out for Wyoming. We spent over 10 hours together on the road to Cheyenne.
19: We stopped in Pine Bluffs to see the 5-story statue of Mary, "Our Lady of Peace." | It was fun to visit the Cowgirls of the West Museum in downtown Cheyenne.
20: Allen T. True Painted the murals inside the capitol building | We visited the WY State Capitol Building. There are statues all over the grounds, as well as the city. | "The Spirit of Wyoming" stands over 18 feet high. | Esther H. Morris Helped bring women the right to vote in WY in 1869.
21: American Bison "Buffalo" Tatonka | The bison is the state mammal. This one weighed 3,000 pounds when alive. | Elizabeth really wanted to meet the governor. She had some ideas & questions. He wasn't in.
23: The Cheyenne Depot Plaza, downtown, has a collection of 8-foot tall Big Boots, fun shops, a clock tower, tasty restaurant, farmers' market, and a horse made entirely of junk metal parts. What fun!
24: Elizabeth and Hannah were candle lighters for Travis and Kristina's wedding to carry on tradition.
26: The wedding was at Travis's church. The reception was at a park that had an authentic retired train engine. | Everything went well, the girls did a nice job, and it was great to be with family.
27: Such beautiful girls! Hannah caught the bride's bouquet. Well, really, it landed in front of her and she picked it up. Elizabeth caught the flower that fell out of the bouquet.
28: A group of us went to THE BUNKHOUSE. They had delicious food and a great live band. It was a BLAST! | This couple was from TN. They were amazing dancers! When he danced with Elizabeth the entire place watched and cheered!
