FC: The great Depression
1: Many Homes were foreclosed.
2: As a result of families losing their homes they were forced to live on the road.
3: What caused the Great Depression? | The great depression was caused by a crisis in the banking of the US, and by the failure of businesses in the US.
4: A woman washes laundry outside. | A look into a one room school house where a class is being taught.
5: What was life like? | Life was hard for the people affected by the Great Depression. Money was short and lots of people lost their jobs and businesses.
6: It became difficult for men to feed their families due to their lack of money.
7: Some families didn't even have a car or buggy to live in. | So they were forced to walk everywhere.
8: Who was affected by the great depression? | Most people were affected in one way or another, even large business owners were affected when people couldn't afford their products anymore.
9: A home that a family has built for themselves.
11: Sadly, there were so many children that were affected and died during the Great Depression.
12: How long did the Great Depression Last?
13: The Great Depression ran from 1929 to 1941, a long 12 years.
14: How and when did the Great Depression End?
15: The great depression officially ended in 1941 as a result of the start of the war.
