The fifth time was the charm as the Griffins staged a second-half comeback to win the 2011 title over an outstanding Belleville West team. The Griffins were down four heading into the second half, but a tremendous defensive effort resulted in the Maroons scoring only 9 points in the third quarter. On the offensive side, the team had four players in double figures. Tony Cochran led the way with 16 points and Brad Woodson added 14. Both Cochran and Woodson posted three three pointers. The inside tandem of George Suggs and Sean O'Brien combined for 22 points and negated the Belleville West inside game in the second half of the game.
