FC: A Year of Memories 2010

3: Holiday Memories Warm Even The Coldest Of Days | The kids received gift cards to Build-A-Bear Workshop for Christmas from Aunt Vicky and Uncle Mark We spent an evening with everyone making their bears
4: May this year be your best ever! | Kaitlyn is turning 7! She is always so excited for her birthday!
5: I hope all your birthday dreams and wishes come true.
6: Pinewood Derby Races | Kyle and Trevor were so excited....this was the first year they both took home trophies! They were both so excited to place this year in the races
7: Kyle built a hummer with camouflage paint. Trevor built a gold Ferrari. The boys love to build their cars! And the races are fun to watch | 4th place | 3rd Place
8: Alex and Kaitlyn wanted to join in the fun... so this year they built cars for the Pinewood Derby race at the Galleria Mall. They both used the saw to cut and sanded. The best part is painting the cars! | Kaitlyn built a pencil, complete with the metal strip below the eraser. Alex wanted an American Flag, not an exact replica because it was impossible to fit 50 stars, but we were close.
9: This is so much better than Girl Scouts... I want to join Boy Scouts
10: The Hunt Is On
11: Campground Egg Hunt They hide empty eggs, and then throw candy out too. When the buzzer goes off, the person with the most eggs wins a big basket. Trevor only picked up the eggs, and then took candy from the other kids. Pretty smart kid!
12: Easter Egg Hunt at Aunt Vicky and Uncle Mark's. Kaitlyn and Kyrsten found the prize egg. The Easter Bunny was mean this year hiding them so high that none of the kids could reach them. | Where are those eggs hiding? Trying to find the last few!
14: We went on a surprise trip to Walt Disney World this year. We were heading to South Carolina for Shauna's graduation, so we decided to leave a few days early and enjoy Disney. We told the kids once we stopped for dinner in Maryland. They were all so excited! Before that, we told them we were going to Dollywood to study birds and their poop! We even got Aunt Vicky in on the surprise, telling them about Dollywood!
15: Look, there's PLUTO! Pluto was the 1st character we met during our trip!
16: Spaceship Earth was Kyle's favorite ride at Disney. All the kids had so much fun. It was a wonderful trip. Everyone was so tired at the end of each day! | M..I..C..K...E..Y M..O..U..S..E | Can't go to Disney without trying on some Mickey EARS! They have so many different kids to try!
19: Dad and the kids rode the River Rapids ride over and over with no lines! | They had their ponchos on anyway since it was raining. and most everyone else left the park because of the rain!

25: There is the MARINE | Waiting for the Graduation to start | It was a race to get down the steps first, there were so many people
27: 4th Grade Awards Ceremony Alex received awards for band and chorus. She was also recognized as one of the top students in 4th grade. Alex received a savings bond from the school. Congratulations Alex, keep up the good work.
28: Dale and I took a cruise to Canada for five days in June. | It was a little chilly on the ship, no swimming for us... but it was nice to get away for a few days. Next time we are going to the Carribean though.
29: Our 1st Cruise
30: Our cruise was wonderful! We went on two excursions while we were in Port. The first was a bus trip to Saint John's Bay. And then a carriage ride through the city. The city sits on a hill so we rode up to the top and then walked back to the ship. We walked through the farmers market, and then enjoyed lunch outside with a band playing in the background. Then we boarded the ship for the trip home.
32: Our Ship, it was beautiful!
33: We needed jackets and long pants but still had a good time on our excursions. The weather was sunny, just a little on the cooler side.
35: We will definitely be cruising again...next time to a warmer location...
37: We took a trip to Muddy Run Campground Kyle and Trevor had been asking to go there to play in the creek, and Saturday evening we went to The Buck to watch the races! It was a great weekend!
38: This weekends theme was Native American, there was a bonfire where the kids learned dances and of course a hayride.
39: Playing badminton with dad. No net required, just some cones. | Lunch time! It is so nice to eat outside in the fresh air. | Eww...gross, that water is disgusting but the kids loved it | The kids found a few crayfish in the creek on this trip.
40: Can we get in the pool yet? This trip, we brought the floats and Mom had a blast flipping the kids off. They knew if they splashed, they got flipped!
41: One of the best parts of camping is the kids playing outside, riding bikes, and meeting new friends, and of course they get really, really DIRTY. Check out Trevor's feet! GROSS
42: Hope you have the greatest Birthday ever! | Trevor found out Kyle doesn't have to share | Kyle and Trevor with Grammie

45: August, 2010 | A Trip to the Beach
46: Fun at the Beach!
47: The water was great!
48: Going for a walk on the beach. Sand between your toes feels like magic. | The girls wanted their picture taken with Shrek! Don't they look cute. We enjoyed dinner on the boardwalk and then some shopping. | We spent two days at the Frontier Town waterpark! They have water slides, a lazy river and a play place. And the water was nice and warm! | Dad, Kyle and Trevor on the lazy river. The kids wanted to try and get Mom and Dad wet from the waterfalls. We were drenched when they succeeded
50: Kaitlyn and Trevor fell asleep at the picnic table when we were listening to Karaoke. Alex was the only one who sang, she did a good job. It was a nice way to end the day at the beach.
51: Our last day at the beach. We spent about two hours swimming and left just in time for the rain to start. What a great weekend, definitely going back next year!
52: Mom and the girls went parasailing in Ocean City. It was so much fun. We went up four hundred feet, there was a few people on the boat that went up eight hundred feet. Thats a little too high for us on our first trip.
53: And of course, when you go parasailing you get DIPPED! Alex and Kaitlyn didn't believe me when I told them it was going to happen. In order to get the girls wet, I got soaked part way up my back. It wasn't until afterwards that the girls started asking about whether or not there might be sharks when they dropped us in the water.

56: By the end of the night, everyone rode the Wild Mouse! | Fair Food YUMMY! Corn dogs, funnel cakes, waffle ice cream sundaes, and sausage sandwiches! So much to choose....
57: York Fair FUN!
59: Kyle and Trevor were in a Halloween Parade in Dillsburg for their Cub Scout Pack. They went in a float made to look like a hunting scene. It was pretty cold out but everyone had fun.
60: The kids had full buckets of candy from trick-or-treating. Friends joined us for a fire on Friday and more friends on Saturday to trick-or-treat with us!
61: Halloween Camping... Beautiful weather, lots of friends and family. Great weekend.

"my family and friends, and no I'm not copying" | Kaitlyn is thankful for... "family, friends, pets, and that I am almost 8 and won't have to ride in a car seat anymore" | Trevor is thankful for... "my family and friends" | Alex is thankful for... "family, friends, basketball, and cucumbers"...noone understands the last one | Dad is thankful for... "good friends and family I have around me, my wonderful wife, and the joys of watching our children grow, oh and don't forget the garage"

68: Kyle and Trevor were able to learn how to shoot 22's. They had a great time at the camp. Trevor held a bunny that Dads friend had shot, Kyle said, no thanks! | Hunting Camp
69: When they arrived at the camp, they tried deer meat pancakes. Trevor loved them so much he was asking when we could make them at home. | Kyle and Trevor are wanting to go back as soon as possible they had such a great time!

74: Aunt Vicky was in charge of the cake...oops, forgot the candles so we only had two. Good thing Alex was turning 11 and not 12! | The party's here!
77: "A Christmas Surprise.. Dad met the dog on Tuesday evening, and the kids were surprised on Wednesday after school. Santa Clause was good to our family this year!

81: Tucker is such a lovable dog. He is 1 1/2 years old. He snuggles at the end of our bed and loves the big backyard.,

84: Gingerbread House Making Party A new family tradition.
85: Aunt Vicky, Bob, and Kyrsten joined us for a party!
86: Each year, the kids receive an ornament from Mom as a start to their own collection of ornaments for when they have their own tree. The kids get excited each year for what their ornament will be. This year they were personalized with the year and name.
88: It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas!
89: Can we open yet? We don't have to go youngest to oldest, right?

92: Alex got chinese finger cuffs for Kaitlyn. Kaitlyn came running upstairs crying that her fingers were stuck. "How do I get them out, my hands are stuck".
94: Santa Clause delivered lots of goodies this year... the kids were so excited to start playing, we forgot about stockings until after Christmas dinner. Santa put a few toys and lots of practical stuff in the stockings, toothbrush, toothpaste, and chap-stick..."what was Santa thinking"?
