S: Journey Towards Your True Essence
BC: Each of us is on a journey to connect to our true fundamental essence. Essence is our core strength and abilities that exist within each one of us. As children we are ready to explore and we have no fear; as we get older we start to feel limited and don't believe we can follow where our passion takes us. We must be intentional to find passion in our relationships, our career, and our family life. By seeking and striving for a greater wholeness through nature, we learn more about ourselves and our strengths. We, in turn, affirm the importance of our spirituality and mental health. www.PathwaytoMindandSpirit.com | Allison Turner Having developed a passion for photography at a young age, I have always been most relaxed and mindful in nature. Taking pictures for me is a form of meditation that calms my spirit and renews my soul. | Copyright 2011
FC: PATHWAY TO MIND AND SPIRIT: Journey Towards Your True Essence Allison Turner
What is important in your life?
As the day comes to a close, what are you thankful for?
What do you want the world to know? Are you willing to risk yourself, conquer your fears and co-create your life?
As a bird waits for its meal, we wait for an opportunity. Life is about being patient and waiting for the right moment and then seizing that moment.
Where does your journey lead? Is your road paved or dirt? Filled with light or shadow? Most importantly, do you love the path that you are following?
What do you see in a flower? Do you pause to appreciate the beauty of each one or do you take for granted that flowers are everywhere? Look at the detail and know that flowers remind us of the intricacies of everyday living. Life is full of many moments that make up our journey. As we appreciate each and every moment, we create a divine energy within and surrounding us.
Nature knows no limits. . .
 So why should you?
Can you connect with your inner divinity and strength at any time? Is peace a part of your life? Nature is one way to connect to our essence.
The Serenity of being Alone. Do you make time for yourself to recharge in this busy world?
The Beauty of Life is in the DETAILS.
EACH TIME YOU WALK OUT YOUR DOOR, WHAT DO YOU NOTICE? DO YOU SEE THE BEAUTY, DETAIL, HARMONY, SIMPLICITY, SOFTNESS, and CONTRAST?
The Color RED is often associated with PASSION. What are you passionate about?
 Do you appreciate the details?
As the sun rises, so does it set. As we move forward in our journey, we have beginnings and endings but each moment is sacred.
What is your comfort zone? The Anhinga (bird) in the picture landed in a tree and almost ended up on top of the green iguana pictured on the right. The iguana was sitting peacefully in the tree before this bird flew in and crash landed right next to it. The bird looked as shocked that there was an iguana in the tree as the iguana did when the bird landed. When you move out of your comfort zone, is the movement deliberate or do you crash land down a new path, catch your breath and either return to your comfort zone or quickly jump in a new direction?
