BC: Fall 2011 Back to school and back to the daily grind....But with all of the activities and the fun that we create for ourselves there is never a dull moment! The weather remained unbelievable right through to the end of the year. (I sure hope that doesn't mean we make up for it in 2012!) Max has very happily settled into preschool, Zach into grade one and Brooke grade 3. Zach was described by his teacher as "somewhat of a class clown," and Brooke is having a fun year with her best buddy Alexa by her side. Max started skating lessons, Brooke started dance with Maya this year. Of course we still have MTYP, swimming, Sunday School, beavers and Brownies as well. Tim has been assigned a special position as traffic enforcement - a job he has come to enjoy. I think it's the thrill of the hunt and the quest to beat his personal best or something. I have season tickets with my friend Kim for MTC again this year - a little something for everyone. We had to say goodbye to our dear neighbour Khai who was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer at the beginning of October. Such a fabulous person. Such a tragic loss. We will try to make sure to watch out for Helen and Katrina going forward. We had a great Christmas - everyone was well spoiled and appreciated it very much. We rang in the new year with the Craig family again. A great way to ring in the new year. Here's hoping for peace health and happiness for the new year.

42: This year Thanksgiving day also marked the season opener for the new Winnipeg Jets team - So some ate at the table and some at the t.v. - They were blown away 5-0 by Montreal....It can only get better right? | Brooke's first customer for her girl guide cookie stand was a very friendly deer. So nice to be able to cuddle together and comfort each other. Sleep tight my babies.

She was so proud (rightly so!)

His wife Helen and daughter Katrina are faced with the struggle of creating a new normal without him. We will try to help and support them. So fragile is life. Another reminder how important it is to hold your loved ones close and never let an opportunity pass by where we can show our love and appreciation.
