2: American | Description: Their coats range in a variety of colors from white to dark blue. They weigh about 9-12 pounds. | The American was recognized as an official breed in 1918. It was first called the German Blue Vienna, but the name was changed shortly after World War I.

They have a slight curve to their bodies and their ears stand straight up. They are grayish in color. | Introduced to the U.S. in 1919. They were bred from large Standard Chinchilla rabbits to produce more meat.

It is white with dark spots on the nose, ears, tail and feet. They weigh between 2.3-4.5 pounds. | This bunny is a.k.a. the Chinese, Russian, Egyptian, and the Black Nose.

16: Mini Rex | Colors: Blue, Blue Eyed White, Castor, Chinchilla, Chocolate, Himalayan, Lilac, Lynx, Opal, Otter, Red, Sable Point, Seal, Tortoise, White, Sable, Smoke Pearl, Silver Marten, and Tan. | Their fur is very dense and stands upright. They weigh between 4-4.5 pounds.

18: Silver Fox | Description: It is a large, sweet natured breed. It weighs between 11-12 pounds, and it is named for its dense blue-gray or silver fur. | Today the Silver Fox is one of the rarest rabbit breeds in America, and is considered critically endangered by the American Livestock Breeds Conservancy.
