FC: Marietta PA Program: Class of 2011
1: I pledge to perform the following duties with honesty and dedication: I will hold as my primary responsibility the health, safety, welfare and dignity of all human beings. I will uphold the tenets of patient autonomy, beneficence, non-maleficence and justice. I will recognize and promote the value of diversity. I will treat equally all persons who seek my care. I will hold in confidence the information shared in the course of practicing medicine. I will access my personal capabilities and limitations, striving always to improve my medical practice. I will actively seek to expand my knowledge and skills, keeping abreast of advances in medicine. I will work with other members of the health care team to provide compassionate and effective care of patients. I will use my knowledge and experience to contribute to an improved community. I will respect my professional relationship with the physician. I will share and expand knowledge within the profession. These duties are pledged with sincerity and upon my honor.

4: New Beginnings... | In August of 2009, Marietta College PA Program opened the doors to their new PA building, welcoming the class of 2011.

14: Intramural Sports | Flag Football | Teamwork
15: Many of the students, along with faculty, took advantage of participating in the fall intramural sports. Members of the PA Program played other student teams from Marietta College. | Volleyball
16: Students participated in the Humane Society's Paw Walk. This event raised money for the organization and also promoted available dogs for adoption. | Community Service
18: Students of the Marietta PA Program worked during the annual Sternwheel Festival to raise money for our student society (MCPASS) by providing parking to local Marietta citizens. Students also provided free blood pressure checks to community members.
19: Even our canine friends got their vitals checked
20: Breast Cancer Awareness Month: Students and faculty showed their support by wearing pink.
21: PA Week | "Get The Shot NOT The Flu." | Students and faculty spread the word about what it is to be a PA, while also promoting the importance of the flu vaccine.
22: Students brightened smiles by providing dental hygiene products and toys to children in Afghanistan where former Marietta PA student Stanley Yee is deployed. | PA Care Package
24: Special Olympics | Students volunteered at the Special Olympics in West Virginia where they helped with bowling.

26: Love Lights | Students helped set up Christmas trees at Marietta Memorial Hospital. Trees will be displayed throughout the different wings of the hospital.
27: It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas!
28: The Marietta PA Program spread some holiday cheer by purchasing gifts for a local Marietta family. Students worked with the Washington County Children's Services to locate a deserving family. | Adopt a Family
