 The Reception | 3

 The Food | 4

We spent a lot of time deciding what food to have for our reception. We opted to have primarily desserts, but with a few | finger foods mixed in as well. | 5

 All this delicious food & drink. . . | 6

but Andrew will be the first to tell you; we hardly got to eat any of it! Thankfully, they did send us home with a couple of plates of food. | 7

 The Groom's Cake | 8

In honor of the way we met, Andrew chose a Baskin Robbins themed cake. The flavor? Red velvet cake with cream cheese icing; Andrew's favorite! | 9

 The Wedding Cake | 10

We requested that the cake be decorated based on our invitations, with flowers placed on & around it.. | 11

From a distance, the final result was stunning; | it was everything we had asked for! | 12

But, upon closer inspection. . . | we, especially Andrew, noticed a few flaws. | Regardless, it tasted fantastic: white cake with white icing! | 13

 The First Dance | 14

Finally, it was time for our first dance as a married couple- the Lewises. | 15

And so, we danced. | We danced to "Iris" by the Goo Goo Dolls. | 16

As we danced, Andrew sang the song to me, which made me quite happy. He also picked me up at one point, as can be seen in the top left photo. | 17

Throughout the night, our photographer continued taking random photos that seemed to focus on the back of my dress. Nevertheless, some amazing shots came from the first dance. . . | 18

some shots that we will cherish for years to come. | 19

The First Chance to Mingle | 20

Finally, Andrew & I got a little bit of time to mingle with our guests, & at least attempt to eat. | 21

Among our guests were some of my dear friends from Wheaton. | 22

We were so glad they were able to come all the way down here! | 23

Although our time with them was short, Andrew & I greatly enjoyed visiting with our friends. . . | 24

 and our family. | 25

Throughout the night, several pictures were taken of my hair; Thanks Mrs. Janis! | 26

Several more pictures were taken to highlight the accessories of the wedding, such as these pictures of the beautiful bouquets. | Also, our program fans, which took so long to make! Worse, we didn't get all of the supplies for them until the day before the wedding! | 27

Though the sun began to set outside, we continued to have fun fellowshipping with our loved ones. | 28

But in between visits with friends & family members, | Andrew & I spent as much time together as possible. | 29

Right before we were called in to cut the cake, I was able to spend a few minutes with my favorite Aunt, Uncle & Cousins: the Wright family. :) | 30

The Cutting of the Cake | 31

It seems that Melinda might have snuck a taste of cake icing before we got in to cut the cake. . . Fiend. | 32

First, we posed behind the cake for a few pictures. | 33

Then it was time to cut the cake. | 34

The cake cutting room was very small. So, only a few people were able to be in the room with us as we cut the cake. Nevertheless, they had a live feed of us playing in the reception area, so that everyone could watch. | 35

And so we ate some cake. | (Sorry, we didn't smear each other's faces with cake). | 36

 The Wedding Toast | 37

Next, it was time for our wedding toast. | Although it may look like bourbon, we actually toasted with sweet tea (no ice). | 38

And so we took a sip. | And then Andrew decided to chug his. | And then he choked on it a little. | 39

Before returning to the reception, | we took a few pictures with the groom's cake & of our hands. | 40

The Second Chance to Mingle | 41

Finally, we were able to return to the reception for at least a bit. | However, the photographer's weird obsession with my back continued. . . | 42

Andrew wanted to eat more food desperately. | 43

After a few pictures of the programs & gifts, | it was time to take some more posed shots. | 44

But first, we had to tell Nanny & Becky, Craig's grandmother & mother, goodbye. | 45

The Pictures During the Reception | 46

We started with a few mirror shots in the gift room. | 47

Then we took a few more pictures by the fireplace before it was time to move to the front porch outside. | 48

The first few pictures we took outside were taken standing by the porch swing. It was getting dark, so we didn't have a lot of time, unfortunately. | 49

We moved to the swing next. It was very difficult for me to sit like the photographer wanted me to because of the boning in my dress. | 50

We took a few pictures of only me to finish things off. | 51

As we were heading back inside, the photographer grabbed a few shots of the guestbook attempt. | 52

The Third Chance to Mingle | 53

 We had a few moments to mingle again after the pictures. During this time. . . | . . .Andrew & Spencer realized they shared an acquaintance. . . | . . .(they're so cool) :). . . | . . .& this amazing candid was taken! :) :) | 54 | . . .Melinda & Rebecca arm wrestled. . .

 The Bouquet Toss | 55

So, the next person to get married was actually Autumn, but she had already left. . . | 56

. . .and Melinda got married right after Autumn, so the prediction wasn't really accurate. . . | . . .but it was fun to do. Apparently, I threw the bouquet so hard/far/high that I turned the overhead light off. Crazy! | 57

 The Garter Toss | 58

This part was pretty exciting. | 59 | You can see how happy I was because of the big smile.

The photographer said to flick it or toss it. I tossed it. Mom got upset that I didn't shoot it like a rubber band. | 60

Here's the lucky winner: Taylor Anthony. | He's one of Jaime's friends from Wheaton. | 61

The Final Chance to Mingle | 62

It was getting dark out, | so we said our last goodbyes for the night. | 63

So, Andrew & I headed to our separate changing spaces | to get ready to leave for our honeymoon. | 64

 The Send Off | 65

Melinda came up & helped me change into my leaving outfit. | Debbie had bought the dress & shoes for me as a gift, & I borrowed the broach from Lindsey. | 66

Nevertheless, Andrew & I waited as all of our guests lined up, received their sparkler & got it lit. Apparently, there was some difficulty lighting the sparklers, but they got it eventually. | 67 | We had chosen sparklers for our guests to use as we left. They were a bit of a last minute purchase, & were very difficult to find in June. Also, we didn't get official permission to use them until the day before the wedding, due to weather conditions. . .

Finally, it was time for us to head towards the car, surrounded by our sparkler-wielding guests. | 68

After leaving, Andrew & I picked up our luggage, & dropped off some stuff at my parents' house We then had a few minutes to eat some food that the caterer had sent home with us, before Craig came to pick us up. He drove us to the hotel where we stayed for the night before catching our flight to Key West the next morning. | 69

70 | And so, our guests dispersed, & the next chapter or our life began.

Andrew & I are so thankful that so many friends & family members were willing to come out & celebrate with us on such a hot, summer day! We had such a good time. :) We are especially grateful to all of those who helped us put this wedding together; especially when we had to do most of the planning during school breaks. We couldn't have done it without the help of our friends & our family. But, there wouldn't have been a wedding if God had not brought us together. So, we are most thankful for Him; for His love & guidance, & for giving us what we need, even if it's not necessarily what we want. Thank You, Lord!! | 71
