To my father, who always encouraged and believed in my creativity.

Huxley the Wallump, once long ago, said, with a great big idea stuck in his head,

"Bruckleberries today are what I must have."

"My dear Huxley, no, the patch is so far, one can only get there by boat or a car. | His friends, Snoog and Wumble, said with a laugh,

Instead have some chockleberries, so good and so blue." But to Huxley the Wallump, that just wouldn't do.

And so they set out, bruckleberries to find.

 They faced the great Woozles

 and Snooks of all kinds.

 They walked through the Swumps

and the great | Sniggle woods,

and past the last Sniggle tree, there stood their goods.

The patch of the bruckleberries had such a great hue, it seemed they could taste them, purple and blue.

So glad was dear Huxley, he vowed he would stay, and there stands his house, still to this day.
