3: To my father, who always encouraged and believed in my creativity.
5: Huxley the Wallump, once long ago, said, with a great big idea stuck in his head,
6: "Bruckleberries today are what I must have."
7: "My dear Huxley, no, the patch is so far, one can only get there by boat or a car. | His friends, Snoog and Wumble, said with a laugh,
8: Instead have some chockleberries, so good and so blue." But to Huxley the Wallump, that just wouldn't do.
9: And so they set out, bruckleberries to find.
10: They faced the great Woozles
11: and Snooks of all kinds.
12: They walked through the Swumps
13: and the great | Sniggle woods,
14: and past the last Sniggle tree, there stood their goods.
15: The patch of the bruckleberries had such a great hue, it seemed they could taste them, purple and blue.
17: So glad was dear Huxley, he vowed he would stay, and there stands his house, still to this day.
