FC: GO TEAM! | PLAY BALL | The Boys Who Played Ball | for Hunter & Colton
This book is dedicated to two very special boys who have more power and potential than they could ever imagine. May you always aim high and reach far.
Once upon a time, there was a little boy named Hunter. | Hunter liked to play ball. He played baseball.
He played soccer. In fact, he played with anything that would roll.
Hunter soon had a little brother. This little brother was special. Colton was exactly what Hunter had hoped for. He was a boy...and he could roll!
Mommy always said, “Be careful when you play. Something could break.” | Daddy always said, “Be careful when you play. Something could break.”
GO TEAM! | Hunter said, “OK." But one day, he kicked his ball very hard. Do you know what happened?
It went up, up, up. Then came down, down, down and...
It hit the house. Without huffing or puffing, the whole house came down. | BOOM!
“Oh, no! What will we do?” Hunter asked Colton. Colton could not talk, so he just cried, and cried, and cried. Wah! Wah! Wah!
Suddenly, Hunter got an idea! “Let’s go ask for help,” he told Colton, and together they went.
"Snow family, snow family. Our house has fallen. Can you help us fix it?" But the snow family just looked at them, so they went on. | First they found a big snow family.
Can you help us? | "Football player, football player. Our house has fallen. Can you help us fix it?" But the football player just smiled, so they went on. | Next they found a football player.
"Spiderman, Spiderman. Our house has fallen. Can you help us fix it?" But Spiderman just sprayed a web, so they went on. | Next they found Spiderman.
They even found the Easter Bunny and the Great Pumpkin. "Our house has fallen. Can you help us fix it?" But no one could help them.
“What can we do?” asked Hunter. This time Colton answered. He said, “Mama. Dada.” He was right. They had to tell Mommy and Daddy what happened. Maybe they could fix it. But when they got home...
The old house was gone! In its place was a beautiful, big, new house just for them.
Mommy and Daddy did fix it. And they all lived happily ever after.
