FC: Rumpelstiltskin : The Aftermath, By Brooke Cline
As he was torn he chanted in vain “I will be back, I will be back to claim the child!” Until the voice faded and disappeared. She held the baby up to her chest “Its alright dear, the little dwarf is not going to take you.” She whispered softly. right dear, the little dwarf is not going to take you.” She whispered softly.
The child was older; and all grown, he did not know anything of “Rumpelstiltskin”. His mother, nor his father ever told him about the strange little man. | 10 YEARS LATER
Little Ron was in his bed, he felt something above his head, he looked up and seen the flash of a little person but he disappeared too quickly. He yelled for his mother over and over again until she flew into the room and kneeled down to Ron, “Whats wrong, honey?” She asked thoroughly. He came out from the covers, “T-t-there was a man in my room short, short man.” He muttered.
She glazed up in fear, “Don't worry,” She said uneasy, “you're just tired, now lay down and get some rest.” | He nodded his head and laid back down, Maryanne closed the door and leaned against it. | “Nononononononooooooooooo!!” She screeched in a low pitched voice, “this cannot be happening.” She mumbled. As she leaned against the door it flew open,
She sat up and looked at her son, “I thought I told you to go to bed!” She grouched, “I’m sorry sweetie.whatcha got there?” ?” She said looking at something in the palm of his hand.
He handed it to her, “Its some sort of ring.it was on my dresser.” He said to his Mother. It was the same ring she had given to Rumpelstiltskin all those years ago.
She stared at it for a moment until the silence was broken by laughter. “What was that?” Ron asked Maryanne. Maryanne looked over by the bed and seen little feet sticking out from underneath the bed.
“Come out! You evil little cretin!” She yelled grabbing her son and holding him in her arms; grasping him tightly. The little dwarf slid out and popped up and landed on the bed. “I have came back for whats rightfully mine” He said with glowing eyes. “No! He is my son! I guessed your name! LEAVE US ALONE!” She screamed. He looked at her with vengeful eyes, and pulled out something from his pocket. It was a shiny blade. “If I can't have him, NO ONE CAN!” yelled, leaping toward Ron.
She woke up in a pool of sweat; she had been having the same dream since Ronald was born. She looked over to him as he laid underneath his arm. | She kissed his head and rolled back over and went back to sleep, knowing she would probably have the dream where she left off.
