BC: And the pond was happy.
FC: The Boy and the Pond a life story
There was once a beautiful pond on a hill, surrounded by the greenest plants, but the pond was sad.
One day, a boy came to the pond and swam in the water, and splashed, and played games. And the pond was happy.
Another day the boy came to the pond. “Boy, come, swim in my water, let’s splash and let’s play games.” But the boy was sad. | “I’m a teenager now and I need things, but I have no money…” “I have no money to give you” said the pond “but what I do have is fish swimming in my depths.” And the boy spent all of that day fishing and with grand finesse WOW he caught the biggest fish they’ve ever found in that pond. He caught even tiny fish. And he took them to the market and he sold them for all a bunch of money. And the boy bought the things that teenagers need.
 And the pond was happy.
Another day the boy came to the pond, but this time the boy stayed away. “Boy, come, swim in my water, let’s splash and let’s play games.” | “Oh, I’m sorry, I’m a father now. I have two beautiful children and a wonderful wife, but we don’t have a house to live in…” “Well, I don’t have a house to offer you, but what I do have in the depths of my water” said the pond “is precious stones.” And the boy dove to the depths of the pond and he collected all of the shells and sold them in the market. And with the money he got he built a wonderful house.”
 And the pond was happy.
But this time winter came and the pond froze from the cold. But, as you know, seasons change, and the spring came… and the boy…
“Boy, come, swim in my water, let’s splash and let’s play games.” “Oh, I’m sorry, I’m retired now and I just want to travel the earth, to visit the most beautiful places.” | “All I have left to give to you is my water.” And the boy sank the pipes deep into the earth. And as the water came up through the pipes it went roll down the valley into the city. And the boy loved the pond. And the pond was happy.
But this time the boy stayed away for a very long time, and when he returned: “Pond…pond…Please, pond, my friend, give me a sign. I have not the eyes of my youth to find you.”
Now, the pond loved the boy very much, and, when you love someone very much, there’s a time when you must be truthful and honest. So the pond said to the boy:
“Boy, when you came to me as a child and wanted things, I gave you my fish. There are no more. As a young man, you needed a house for your family, I gave you my precious stones. There are none left. When you wanted to travel the earth in your retirement, I gave you my water. But now I’m nothing but a dried up mudhole."
When the boy heard this, he began to cry. And all his tears fell into the hole and the water began to rise. And just then, the clouds covered up the blue sky and it poured down upon the boy. And as he looked down upon the water, he saw his face – his reflection.
And at that moment, the sky opened up and the sun shone down upon the boy standing near the pond. And after all these years, after a lifetime, the boy, tasting its water, loved the pond so very much.
