FC: The Monkey and the Camel Alex Lane Megan Rowe
Once upon a time, in a land far, far away, the animal kingdom was in dire need of help. You see, this was an animal kingdom in the middle of a jungle where no humans are. They have been without entertainment, food, drink, and every necessity.
With no apparent help from outside the kingdom to their yelling and screaming, (which sounded like dog barking at night to humans) the kingdom had lost hope.
To rally the spirits of his royal subjects, the king had mandated that they must dance. He hoped that with the forced dancing, the depressing and hopelessness would evate.
As the only one in the room not afflicted with the undeniable hopelessness, Marco (the monkey) gets tired of being the only one with uplifted spirits. So, he proceeded to dance. First slowly, but with time it grew into a pretty good dance. It definitely got everybody smiling again.
But soon that smile grew into laughter at Marco. This was a result of Cory, the Camel. With the spotlight on Marco at first, jealousy ran throughout the room; eventually landing on Cory. Who soon completely outdid Marco. Marco looked on as he stole away the hearts of the on-lookers.
As soon as Cory finished his show, the eyes turned to the lonely monkey slowly walking out the door. As soon as their eyes hit him, they started to riot in a fashion which could only be described as animalistic. | As Marco ran away from the mob, Cory was left thinking what he had done. "it was just a dance" he said, not realizing the potential result of his actions.
