 Walt Disney World 2010
 No sleeping on this flight!
July 30, 2010 Daddy, Bub, Sissy and you left Lawton at 2:00 in the morning for a flight leaving Dallas at 6:00 am. I was already in Florida for a school conference. I couldn't wait for you to arrive. This was your very first plane trip! | Florida Bound
Mia Elizabeth Walker | It's 10:30... just landed in Florida. Time to go pick up Mommy. | Look Out Mickey Mouse... Here We Come!!!
Mia, you were such a big girl on the plane. Now you were ready to help sissy with her bags.
I was so happy to see you and daddy. I missed you so much! We had been apart for six days. I couldn't believe how much you had grown.
You picked up mom in a Stretch H2
We had to wait at the hotel for about 3 hours to get our room. Daddy, Bub and Sissy were tired from the trip, but not Mia Elizabeth. You were going strong even though you hadn't slept in about nineteen hours!
 The Polynesian
July 30, 2010 We rested at the Polynesian for a couple of hours and then we planned to head to the Magic Kingdom to watch "Nightastic". You were still sleepy from the flight, so your dad walked you down to the beach outside of our room. You both sat on the swing until you had a chance to wake up. You came back ready to go! We fed the ducks outside of our hotel and then left to catch the ferry boat. I loved our hotel room. We had such a great view of the castle at Magic Kingdom.
 Skywriting | The Polynesian
The pier was right outside of our hotel room. We walked over to find out what time the next ferry was leaving for Disney World!
We finally made it to Mickey!
Our first night in Magic Kingdom was truly magical. Disney had an amazing lights parade that wrapped through the streets. Afterwards, everyone made their way to the famous castle. There they had a huge fireworks display. It was beautiful! I was so happy Gabby, Grant, you, your dad and I had the chance to experience "NIGHTASTIC".
Animal Kingdom... where Disney storytelling comes alive with creatures real, imaginary... and abominable.
Our second day in Florida, we decided to go to Animal Kingdom. As soon as we walked in, we saw a gigantic tree with carvings of animals all over the trunk. We eventually went inside the tree to go to "A Bug's Life". The show was really fun, but you were terrified. It was in 3D. There were spiders that dropped from the ceiling, bursts of air that hit our face, and at the end of the show we could feel bugs running through our seats. One bee even poked us in our backs. After the show we went on a safari ride. We saw all sorts of animals.
 Hollywood Studios.... Here we come!
You were so excited to see Buzz and Woody. But, by the time we found them, the studio was closed. You just stood outside the window and watched all the other kids taking pictures. Your dad and I decided to go back to Hollywood Studios the next day. We couldn't wait for you to see some of your favorite characters.
You loved this 4D Toy Story ride!
 Hollywood Studios
 Next stop... Epcot!
Epcot... Where the magic of Disney touches the real world and every day brings endless possibilities. | Explore the culture and cuisine of eleven nations around the world. | Experience an underwater world adventure! | Board a clammobile and take a field trip through The Seas with Nemo and Friends.
 Epcot's... The Seas
The Seas with Nemo and Friends was such a fun attraction. First, we all hopped in a clammobile and went on an underwater adventure. When the ride was over, we looked in some of the largest aquariums I've ever seen. There were divers in the tanks cleaning. They were also feeding the fish. There were so many things to see... sharks, sea turtles, anemones and jelly fish. After we toured the seas, we went for a trip through Epcot to explore cultures from around the world!
The Chipmunks | We went back to Hollywood Studios, so you could see some classic Disney characters. We ran into Chip and Dale. Mia, you loved these chipmunks. You were ready to take pictures and give high fives!
Our trip to Florida has been amazing! Being able to experience Disney World together is something your dad and I will never forget. We have been to Magic Kingdom where we saw "Nightastic". We went on a safari ride at Animal Kingdom, went through an underwater adventure at Epcot and rode endless rides at each stop. But, one of my favorite parts was watching you meet all of the Disney characters at Hollywood Studios. We waited in line for an hour to see Mickey, Minnie, Donald, Goofy and Pluto. Watching your excitement was well worth the wait! I am so happy to have all of these pictures to remember this perfect day!
 Minnie and Mia
 Donald Duck
Mia, the first time we went to Hollywood Studios, we rode the Woody and Buzz ride. You loved the ride, but when we went to go through the set of Toy Story, it was already closed. So, we decided to come back. I'm so glad we did, because this was a very exciting place for you. Inside, we walked through different parts of the Toy Story movie. We were able to take pictures in Woody's bedroom, with the aliens and the claw and strapped to the rocket like Buzz. We saw Stinky Pete and the Emperor Zurg. Finally, in the last room, you were able to meet the life size Buzz and Woody.
Sarge from the Bucket O' Soldiers came out on the street while we were waiting in line. You weren't to sure about this character.

 I can't believe we're here!
Welcome to The Wizarding World of Harry Potter
The Wizarding World of Harry Potter was such an amazing part of Universal Studios. We were able to experience exciting rides like the Dragon Challenge. It was a twin high speed roller coaster that took us through the middle of the Triwizard Tournament. We rode the Flight of the Hippogriff that took us over Hagrid's hut and the castle grounds. Then there was Harry Potter and the Forbidden Journey. It was one of the best roller coasters I've ever rode. While waiting in line for the ride we were able to go through the passages, classrooms and corridors of Hogwarts. Everything was just like the books and movies. Gabby and I loved Hogsmeade!
Magic Kingdom... here we come again!
Waiting in line to be a Space Ranger | Buzz Lightyear's | Space | Ready, Aim, Fire
Mia, you loved shooting all the Buzz enemies. This ride was perfect for you.! | Ranger | Spin | Magic Kingdom 2010
Mia, you were only a 1 year old during this trip. I made this book to help you remember what a magical time we had on our Disney World vacation. This really was an amazing trip! We rode so many rides and saw beautiful shows and characters. The best part was spending time with family. I love you so much and I will always treasure every moment spent with you!
