Violets are blue... It's been 30 years of marriage.. So time to try something different and new... To Seattle to board our Princess ship... With old friends and others plus a very large crew. Off to Alaska to see all the sights... Plus lot of fine dining well into the night... We saw mountains and glaciers... Fjords and whales... And heard of the many gold mining tales. We rode buses and boats... Planes, trains, and a tram Trying all that we could... To see this great land.
35: Delight in all the beauty that surrounds you.... | To the lover of the wilderness, Alaska is one of the most beautiful countries in the world. John Muir | Our meals started with... Soups, salads and Capresse.. Deciding what to have next was not very easy... There was halibut, crab, salmon and duck... Steak, lamb, pasta and perch... Can you believe then came dessert? Oana, Felipo, Jade and Jose'... Brought Baked Alaska, Menaje a Treis And of course our nightly Creme Brulee'. 2400 miles 7 days at sea... Saw Juneau, Skagway, Ketchikan And Victoria B.C... Our cruise is over... The memories are great... We will always remember our 49th State! Chip Jespersen
