13: The London Eye was built for the 2000 Millennium. It has 32 air conditioned capsules which can hold up to 25 people. It takes 30 minutes for one rotation. Very peaceful... | x | x | x | LONDON EYE
14: If the crow flies away the tower will fall. | This is where Sir Thomas More was sadly beheaded. | Beefeaters are always great tour guides , full of bone chilling stories and who posses a certain sense of British humor.

17: At 11:00 a.m daily, the crowd lines up in front of Buckingham Palace to admire the changing of the guard. They leave the mews from Saint James Palace for Buckingham, marching and playing music to the beat of very loud drums. It was a long wait, but well worth it!

22: HARROD'S | The Bryggen Wharf has buildings dating back to 1070 and is on the UNESCO World Heritage list. Bergen gets rainfall 235 days a year but we were lucky and it barely drizzled the three days we were there. We stayed at the Comfort Hotel Holberg which was comfortable and well located. Photos on the left: We ate at Bryggen Tracteursted,established 1708. Evan had reindeer and Tom had his only beer ($12) on the trip! | x

24: After Abbey road we caught the tube to Westminster Abbey arriving at 5:20 just in time to take in the 5:30 Evensong Mass. Whew! It was worth the rush to hear the choir in such a magnificent setting !
