1: Heading to Cincinnati terminal to hop a flight to NYC. Bright-eyed and bushy-tailed and ready to go! Exchanged dollars to Euros and Pounds, then had a 1 hour delay before taking off for N.Y.! Colette had the good fortune of sighting Steve Martin boarding a plane in NYC! Five hour lay-over before our nighttime flight to ICELAND. | View of N.Y.City | AI RPORT T IME

9: After 10 minutes of Tube & "Minding the Gap" on the Piccadilly Line, we arrived at 221B Baker Street to visit the Sherlock Holmes museum under some British rain. | Enjoying the conveniences of the olden days, phoning Scotland Yard & smoking a pipe | London Beatles Shop | SThe Hound of the Baskerville | Baker Street

10: Clowning around after a 2 hour wait and a credit card denial at Madame Tussasud's famous wax Museum. | Krista searching for her Royal roots | Colette gets acquainted with her roots

11: Some shots taken on our bus tour showing off some stereo-typical Londonites. Below, having fun in a gift shop while waiting out a sudden downpour after visiting M. Tussauds where I found my five GBP plastic watch which Ive received many compliments on! | LONDON SCENES | Good times

13: The London Eye was built for the 2000 Millennium. It has 32 air conditioned capsules which can hold up to 25 people. It takes 30 minutes for one rotation. Very peaceful... | x | x | x | LONDON EYE

14: If the crow flies away the tower will fall. | This is where Sir Thomas More was sadly beheaded. | Beefeaters are always great tour guides , full of bone chilling stories and who posses a certain sense of British humor.

16: Queen Victoria | Guarding the palace | The crowd begins to arrive.

17: At 11:00 a.m daily, the crowd lines up in front of Buckingham Palace to admire the changing of the guard. They leave the mews from Saint James Palace for Buckingham, marching and playing music to the beat of very loud drums. It was a long wait, but well worth it!

18: OTTERNES | STROLL I NG | Going "tubing" with the girls London style. | Stopping to smell the roses on our way to Abbey Road.

22: HARROD'S | The Bryggen Wharf has buildings dating back to 1070 and is on the UNESCO World Heritage list. Bergen gets rainfall 235 days a year but we were lucky and it barely drizzled the three days we were there. We stayed at the Comfort Hotel Holberg which was comfortable and well located. Photos on the left: We ate at Bryggen Tracteursted,established 1708. Evan had reindeer and Tom had his only beer ($12) on the trip! | x

23: WE LOVE LONDON | x | x | Various shots around London: Harrods picnic in Hyde Park, Hoofing it and getting lost around Marble Arch, bumping into a friendly bobby, enjoying a London Pub. Great memories!... | x

24: After Abbey road we caught the tube to Westminster Abbey arriving at 5:20 just in time to take in the 5:30 Evensong Mass. Whew! It was worth the rush to hear the choir in such a magnificent setting !
