Our Brazilian adventure began even before we left the States. Our flight leaving New York was extremely late, causing us to sprint across the Miami airport and barely make our connection to Rio de Janeiro. Unfortunately our bags were not so lucky. Bagless and dejected in Rio, we went to Taco Systems, an American Eagle style Brazilian clothing store, and bought a change of clothes to weather then next couple of days. As we waited for our next flight to Iguassu Falls, our airline changed the departure gate at the very last second. What else could go wrong?! So we sprinted across our second airport in 16 hours. Luckily we made our flight and still had the clothes on our back. From that point on, we knew it was going to be a good trip... | Brazil Itinerary Iguassu Falls December 24-26 Sao Paulo December 26-28 Rio de Janeiro December 28-January 1

Trevor took a lot of pictures of butterflies, 45 to be exact. This is his favorite one. | Yes, we are in Argentina. | Iguanas and caotes and monkeys, oh my!
The many breathtaking views of the Falls
Ever been to Niagra Falls? Well, this is a million times cooler. After a two hour hike through the rainforest, we took a boat ride into the falls. Yes, that's right, INTO the falls. Soaked to the bone, we took the train up to the top of the falls which is called Devil's Throat or La Garganta del Diablo. | From the top we took a raft ride back to solid ground. | No, this is not a fake picture. We were really here at this insanely beautiful, crazy wonderful place on earth. .
Oh hello family. Nice to see you after all these years! Touring around the city, we tried to absorb as much of it as we could. It's huge! We were also treated to rodizio and Tamara's delicious home cooking. Yay family!
 Sao Paulo. Biggest. City. Ever!
Sugar Loaf (or "Sugar bread" as Bari calls it)
360 degree views of the city. It doesn't get much better than this!. Copacabana Beach
I'm King of the World! (Or just happy to be on Corcovado overlooking the city...)
Maracana, the largest stadium in the world. No soccer game though because it was the off season :(
Corcovado (where Jesus lives) | Are you there Jesus? It's me, Trevor.
 BARI | JESUS
Rio Scenarium | Awesome club with great live music, cool decor and lots of happy people dancing the night away...
New Year's Eve on Copacabana Beach! 5 million people + 3 miles of beach + 12 hours of music and dancing + 23 minutes of fireworks = New Year's Eve of a lifetime!
New year, new friends, great times!
Ipanema Our home in Rio | Rodizio, Habib's, samba and more, plus millions of sights we've never seen before. We loved every minute and wished we could stay, but Rio's not home at the end of the day | We stayed right by the beach, subway & restaurants galore. The neighborhood of Ipanema was never a bore. Ice cream, bikinis & dancing, what fun!. If only we had more time for the sun.
We say goodbye to Rio, with love and regret. Tons of memories to cherish and never forget!
