BC: 2012 | THE END!
FC: Zen of Tuna | By: Jordan Hatcher, Jessica Roberts, and Katie Dove
Getting Back To Nature | “Life is either a daring adventure or nothing. To keep our faces toward change and behave like free spirits in the presence of fate is strength undefeatable.” ~ Helen Keller | Dedicated to our lovely geology professor, Prof. Hall
“Life is either a great adventure or nothing.” ~Helen Keller | Once upon a time there was a boy named Louis
 Best Catch of the Day!
Louis went to work with his dad, Captain Morgan one day
Captain Morgan owns a boat that fishes for tuna
“I see my path, but I don't know where it leads. Not knowing where I'm going is what inspires me to travel it.”~Rosalia de Castro
Getting Back To Nature | His boat is made of steel and fiberglass
Always a New Adventure | It takes 50 gallons of gas to fill his BIG boat up
The steel for the boat comes from Minnesota
Captain Morgan reels in a BIG tuna
 It was THIIIIIIIIIIS BIG!
Best Catch of the Day! | The fish now has to go to a factory to be canned
Always a New Adventure | This factory runs off SOLAR energy
“I see my path, but I don't know where it leads. Not knowing where I'm going is what inspires me to travel it.”~Rosalia de Castro
When the tuna gets to the factory...well kids (SPOILER ALERT!)...he dies...
He is then chopped up and put in a can
This can is made from steel and tin which also comes from Minnesota...eh...
Lots of minerals are mined to make these cans
But there are too many to name right now
Then the tuna is moved by a BIG semi-truck to your nearest Piggly Wiggly
“Life is either a great adventure or nothing.” ~Helen Keller | It takes petroleum to run the truck
“Life is either a great adventure or nothing.” ~Helen Keller | Louis and Captain Morgan then go to the Piggly Wiggly and buy a can of tuna
Best Catch of the Day! | When they get home and eat it, they put it in the recyclable bin to help the Earth stay clean
