1: When I was in Uganda I looked at the children with no clean water. It was very depressing to see kids drinking dirty water and getting sick from it. I taught them different ways to clean their water by boiling their water supply or not to drink from a different water source. The children started to have more energy because they started to drink clean water. I was very proud of myself teaching the people of Uganda about drinking clean water
2: When I was in Uganda I was helping out kids get water and carrying packages back to their town. Kids need water in oder to survive so they all work together to help each other out.
5: Uganda's Water source is very bad. It takes time to get clean water to the people. We had to build pumps in the ground so the people will get clean water. We had to teach people in Uganda that drinking from polluted water is bad for you.
6: I was helping out other people in Uganda to spread the word about AIDS. They wanted to stop the spread of AIDS so their children will not get it. During my time I helped make posters, stickers, and pins. People loved them because it made kids get involved with he group. AIDS is a very big problem in Uganda people wanted to let kids know about the dangers.
12: During my stay I learned about different types foods. It had a different taste I was used to because I lived in America. They did not have a big variety of foods because they were limited to what they had. The people were very nice and i had a fun time preparing the food. It was a lot of hard work because they did not the technology that we have in America
17: Different kinds of food in Uganda that I made during my time in Uganda.
