1: constitutional republic | political parties include- National Unity- right wing Nationalist Party United Peru -left wing Peruvian Aprista-Moderate Centre | Peruvian Government-current constitution adopted in 1993 | Peru has a mixed market and developing economy | unitary multi-party republic with one legislative house

2: Imports are mainly agricultural grain,wheat, corn and soy | Most Peruvian are Christian and Roman Catholic

3: Fishing is a major resource and minerals like copper, iron, lead and zinc. Quinoa and potatoes and sugarcane | They Must register for the military at age 18

4: Peru - Summary Peru's current constitution was adopted in 1993 Peru has a Unitary Democratic government with one legislative branch There are 3 branches of government -executive, legislative and Judicial The supreme court leads the judiciary The President is head of the government and chief of state and serves a 5 year term There are 120 member of congress that serve 5 year terms There are 3 major political parties: National Unity Party -right wing Nationalist Party United Peru-left wing Peruvian Aprista- Moderate center

5: Exports include: Gold, fish, and copper Imports include: Wheat, corn Economy is a mix of capital markets and private ownerships and is a developing economy. Peru has a history of Military officers ousted presidents and running the government with a history of terrorist groups such as "The Shining Path" controlling much of the country. Peru's electoral, judicial and prison systems struggle with corruption and inequality at various levels even today. Voting is mandatory for citizens ages 18-70.
