S: gypt Honeymoon 12/15/2009-1/6/2010
1: Our Journey to the Middle East took place on December 15, 2009- January 6, 2010 | Many have asked us why we decided to travel to Egypt for our three week honeymoon vacation. Robert always looks at me to tell the story because it was my choice that led us there. After studying Ancient Egypt in fifth grade a deep curiosity for the ruins and artifacts prolonged in my heart. I have always wanted to travel on camelback to see the Great Pyramids and Sphinx. So, we went.. A few days into our trip we discovered so much more than sightseeing. Witnessing a traditional Egyptian wedding, eating fresh falafels in the streets, shopping at the Egyptian market, riding in horse-drawn carriages, sailing on felucca sailboats, visiting the wondrous mosques, making Finnish and Columbian | friends, and scuba diving in The Red Sea, are only among the few adventures we got to partake.
