We took a trip to Europe on June 9th 2008. We spent 10 days up there. It was amazing. We made new friends and saw the most amazing buildings and architecture. In this book I will never forget what I saw and felt on each day!

 Plane rides..fun..

To London | we made it

Berlin | We arrived in Berlin not long after we left London. It was only a couple hour flight from there. We got situated at our hostel and meet the other groups.

In Berlin we only stayed for a couple nights, so we had to explore as much we could. We found some pretty awesome things.

on top of | the world | seeing the city from above

It looked like the ship was actually coming at you. It was pretty sweet.

We meet up with one of Frau's friends while we were up there. It was cool because they took us around and showed us a lot of the sites. She payed for our subway fare which was kind of her.

 subway

While we spent our night in Berlin, we used it as free time. We hung out with Frau's friends and her family and she showed us an outdoor bar.

On our 2nd day in Berlin we took a city tour. It was the neatest thing. We learned a lot about the city and its buildings.

When we got the tour we went to the Holocaust Memorial and the Brandenburg Gate and many more. They were amazing sites. Paige, David, Frau, Trevor, Sterling, Paul

on top of | the world | seeing all the neat things around town

There were a lot of cool types of statues and architecture!

We took a trip to the museum in Deutschland and met up with our pen pals

Dinner TIme! It was sooo yummy too I'll never forget it

Walked by where the Berlin Wall used to be and we found out that all the crosses along were from everyone who died trying to get over it and to the other side to get to their families

 Dresden, Deutschland!

Memorial of a couple guys that died for what they believed in in a church in Germany.

Dinner in Prague, in the Cech Republic

 Deutchland | Prague | Austria

Now to the torture chamber in Prague. It was pretty cool.

There was a breast cancer walk during our time there.

Their pizza was yummy And this clock was pretty sweet!

We made it for a soccer game in Prague. It's a pretty big deal in Europe!

Don't worry the guy hanging from that pole is a statue. We were walking down the street and came upon him it was cool enough to take a photo of. While we were shopping around some people had a couch chilling on the sidewalk and there were lots of police outside talking to them about it. It was entertaining actually. There was also so much neat architecture and fountains that I couldn't help but take pictures of. One night at dinner as well, which was soooo good, we had a show. Some people came to dance for us. It was really cool.

...this was a pretty cool picture of the ribbons outside another church.

This is a house, pretty amazing since its so big...the next pictures will show the fountain in the backyard.

Soccer! Yeah it's pretty much a big deal in Austria. When we were there it was the Austria-Germany game which only comes every so often.

The Castle which had midgets as servants!

Had to have a little fun with the statues! When we walked through the garden there were statues of all the servants they had.

 2008 | a

 "mozarts geburtshaus"

On the road again..this time to Dachau the concentration camp

Even though Dachau was only used for a work camp several died due to disease. They were made to live in close quarters. During our walk through you could still see names on the lockers they had and nail marks. There are now memorial sites and a piece of art that symbolizes their struggle. There were gas chambers but they were never used.

Some of the memorial sites that were built for them

We left that day with a new look on what had happened so long ago. We felt their pain.

 a | a bumpy bus ride

 Making New Friends...oh Steven =D

Niffty thing about the BMW plant was that it was built from top to bottom. So when people are in it, it moves.
