FC: School Trip to DC
This is a fun photo of pikiachu in the American History Museum.
This is a fun photo at Arlington National Cemetery. It is a fun photo because I bet that we would not find a Carter to Carter Bergeron.
This is a fun photo at the WW2 memorial. It is of Bucci waving to the camera
A fun photo at the Capitol Building and it is of Jeff sleeping.
A fun photo taken of the Bus ride and it is of Bobby Forese.
This picture was taken at the Eternal Flame at Arlington national Cemetery. The Eternal Flame is dedicated to John F. Kennedy. I think the Eternal Flame is special because the flame represents that America never quits because the flame never goes out. This is also John Kennedy's grave site. Kennedy's brothers Robert and Ted are buried nearby. This image is American because it shows how America never gives up.
This is a Photo taken at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier. It is a picture of the Guard who protects this tomb no matter the weather. I think this picture shows respect towards our men and women in the Armed Forces. Another thing I like about this picture is the uniform of the guard. When we were there we also got to watch the changing of the guard. This image is American because it shows the determination and pride we take in our work.
This is a photo taken at the Lincoln Monument. In this photo there is Lincoln's head and a quote about his life. I like this picture because I think the quote is true about Lincoln because he did save the Union. I also like this picture because Lincoln's head in middle of it. This image is American because it displays one of our greatest leaders.
This picture was taken in the Capital Building. It is a picture of John C. Calhoun. Calhoun was one of America's greatest politicians in in the 1800s. Calhoun was a Southern Politician and always made sure the south did not get pushed around by the north. I think this picture is American because it displays one of America's great politicians.
This is a photo taken at the Iwo Jima Marine Memorial. It shows a statue of American Marines raising the flag over Mt. Suribachi. This was a real event and it happened during the battle of Iwo Jima. I like this picture because it shows the courage of American troops. I think this picture is American because it shows the amount of bravery and willpower the Armed Forces have.
This photo is taken outside of the White House. It is a picture of a protesters sign against nuclear programs. The Protester who made the sign has lived outside the White House in a tent since 1981. The protester also made other signs protesting nuclear programs. I think this is American because this protester is exercising his right to free speech.
This photo was taken at the American History Museum. It is a Photo of a Japanese soldiers uniform. I think the gas mask in this photo is very cool. Also if you look closely over the soldier's right shoulder you will see a strange figure of what appears to be a man! I think this picture is American because it recognizes World War 2 and all of its participants.
This picture was taken in the Capital Building. It is a picture of Cornwallis' surrender at Yorktown. I like this picture because it shows our victory in the Revolutionary War. The funny thing is in this photo it is not Cornwallis surrendering his sword it was his 2nd in command ;because Cornwallis was to embarrassed by the defeat. I think this photo is American because it shows how we gained our independence.
