ROATAN BAY ISLANDS, HONDURAS | Thursday, 4/21 How exciting to be in Honduras ! We met our guide Danielle at the port. Michael enjoyed a morning of scuba diving & the kids & I enjoyed the beach. We then explored the shops at the port.
We are at the beach basking in the rays. Mind you it is 9 am. All the while Michael is diving. There were many locals attempting to sell their goods and services; jewelry, baskets, hair braiding. We eventually had a few too many locals around our beach chairs , actually surrounding Jessica. We had to call upon our guide Danielle for rescue. From then on there were many guards by our lounging area for protection. Little scary.
Out on the town enjoying the swill ! I think Jimmy bought every kind of pipe imaginable on this island !
Spending a day with the Rays in Cozumel. We had a blast. Feeding the rays fish was challenging. A fish mistook Jessica's finger for a fish. It actually left teeth marks. We met the mascot of the Ray Beach, an Iguana named Reggie. He was very people friendly.
Jessica and Oliver were inseparable on this cruise. They still keep in touch. Oliver is from Germany. Ahh, how sweet !!
Our travels home were enjoyable as always. Michael did all the driving !!
