1: Eating , Pate de foie gras, smoked salmon, cheese, croissants with friends; drinking wine and champagne, taking the train, buying groceries, walking through the different neighborhoods of Paris; It was all a great experience, despite the rainy days, getting lost, and taking trains in wrong directions. 6: A Dinner Reception was hosted by Mr. Alain Moulen in my honor. This was the first of several dinners hosted by Shaun's extended family. She is very much loved and respected, and I was honored and humbled by the reception given me.
8: Welcome to Paris
9: Our Host: Patou | Patou arranged a dinner reception for me on Saturday, April 4th. His sister, Michelle, is an amazing chef and prepared one of the most fabulous meals I have ever had! Patrick, affectionately called "Patou", made a heartfelt toast in which he assured me that Shaun had the love and support of everyone in the room, and that as long as I was in Paris I, too, would be regarded as family.

13: 4 April 09 - Saturday . . . We stopped by Alain’s friend and colleague, Jerome Queige’s place for champagne. Alain is a distributor for Jacquart Champagne. After a brief visit, we went to Patou’s for dinner. Dinner was amazing and was prepared by Patou’s sister, Michelle, who is a chef. She prepared salmon, lamb, rice, salad and pate. Patou gave the most inspiring toast to me that I have ever heard. It was moving and loving and it was wonderful to hear how much Shaun is surrounded by love and a family away from home. I met her friends and had a great time. But the evening wasn’t over. 5 April 09 - Sunday We left Patou’s in carivan fashion and went out dancing. We went to Kura Samba, and this time it was a different experience. There was a lot of sensual, over-the-top dancing, but in spite of this, I had a good time. I was unaffected by the "loose women", and really didn’t see past our group. Patou and his girlfriend, Natoly, Alain, Mimi and her husband, Shaun and another friend of theirs. Dominique loves women - ALL women, but it was all in fun. We danced and drank champagne until 9am! Just when I thought we would be going to bed, Patou insisted to return to his place for breakfast. When finally hit the bed, it was about 2pm.
