FC: Taj Mahal Palcae, Tower and The Gateway to India! | INDIA!
I chose a few things to research about India. I looked at the education, technology, traditions, the working life and home life.
Education | All children 6-14 attend school. There are laws against child labor just to make sure that children get their primary education.
Children in India love to learn! ... | India does not have much money to help with schools, but they do what they can.
Farmers work everyday and are only permitted to wear a white cloth around them, held up with a white string. They have no tools and use water buffalo to plow. Below are other types of workers, at a market, and taking items to sell at another place. To the right are working class men. They again have a certain uniform, consisting of pants or a long cloth and a shirt. No Shorts!!
 The Working Life.
Life At Home | Life at home is not always as easy as it seems, Some things are good, but other aren't. | Above, to the left, is a family dinner. They have guests and therefore they are using silver plates. As you can see, the people in this photo are using their hands to eat. In India, they do not use silverware. It is normal for them to eat with their hands, usually the right one. Above to the right you see what would be a normal sink at a house in India. It is all cement and below the sink they have cold water and the spout lets out hot water. When washing themselves, they mix the water to make it warm.
Above is where people go to do their wash. It is a community washing are and is always crowded. Sometimes people even wash themselves there.
Terrorism in India is not dealt with correctly. It is pushed aside and ignored by the government. They need help and should not be living in fear forever.
Prime Minister | Recently, their industrial output is doing well, and rose by a good amount. Still, they believe to see a slow down within the coming months. Therefore we still are aiding them, but Pakistan does not believe that we should be as seen in the picture above to the right.
Today, much pollution with greenhouse emissions is a problem throughout the whole world. It was being questioned whether or not China was worse than India, and in doing my research there, i came to find that China is worse as shown in the picture above to the right. Thats good, because now India has one less issue to worry about! | India's Industrialization, Output and other Issues | Below, is the headline that tells us about Pakistan trying to stop U.S aid to India. It was said that Pakistan may even continue with violence until it stops, but the U.S will continue until the problem is resolved.
Personal Letter | While in New Delhi, I decided to take a tour of the Taj Mahal. It’s one of the Seven Wonder of the World so why not! I did not know much about the Taj Mahal so I figured I could learn something new. Apparently, it is a prominent symbol of love in India. The building is made of white marble and has descriptions of the Quran on the gate at the entrance. Along with visiting the Taj Mahal, the tour consisted of touring of other historical places around India. The Taj Mahal was built by an emperor by the name of Shah Jahan, for his wife whom he loved greatly. It took about twenty two years to completely finish building it. It is a big place and the main square of the perimeter is about 186x186 feet. | Touring the Taj Mahal
While in India I received one of these invitations to take a holiday tour. It was interesting to see the different types of things that they celebrated and made me happy to see them happy. Even after all their hardships.
About India! | Currency | Typical clothing is a long gown, currency is known as a Rupe and mainly women wear jewelry, mostly gold with some color in it, like red!
 Art of Rja Ravi Varma
Another interesting thing that I did while in India was take a Camel Safari. A desert known to be the area of the Rapjut princess still remains and people are constantly visiting it. There are still remains of fortresses and palaces and it was once said that nobody could go into her area, but it is now a greatly known area. Some people take day trips and other take night trips. It is always better to give yourself extra time because the harsh, unpredictable winds can cause you to be there longer than you would have planned to. While on my safari we had to stay inside one of the palaces until the wind died down. | Personal Letter 2
