2: Othello ~ The main character in the story who is deceived and falsified by Iago. Othello is a nobleman of Venice/Cyprus who is a good leader and soldier to his people. He is living well until he us tricked by Iago into thinking that his wife and true love Desdemona is cheating on him with Cassio. Desdemona is not cheating at all but Iago is doing a good job at making Othello jealous and angry. With Othello being jealous and angry ends in a world and ending of tragedy. | Desdemona ~ The wife of Othello and best friend of Emilia who gets deceived by Iago as well. A loyal and loving wife who is best friends with Emilia and daughter of Brabantio. Desdemona is a character who is living a regular life with her husband Othello but doesn't know about the evil plots that Iago is planning in which leaves her clueless of her husbands angry beings all of a sudden that leads to tragedy. | Characters

3: Iago ~ Iago is also one of the main characters in the story who is a evil, creepy, rotten snake who brings nothing but evil plots to people around him for revenge. Iago's wants revenge because Othello didn't pick him to be next in line to receive his spot after he's gone. Iago is the trickster who goes throughout the whole story tricking people and deceiving people into getting his way. His is the main cause of the tragic ending of the story. | Emilia ~ Emilia is the character in Othello who is the one that people would love to be. She is the loyal and faithful and the true friend to Desdemona throughout the story. Emilia is the wife of Iago and the one in the story who tries to bring an end to Iago's evil plots once she has found out what he is trying to do. In the end, she finds out that her husband and very evil and lying to her the whole time. She also finds out that he doesn't really love her and he's very selfish.

4: Cassio ~ Cassio is the character in the story who has been chosen to receive Othello's position. Cassio is a well respected man who gets tricked by Iago's evil plan. Iago uses him to look as if he is the one cheating with Desdemona. This plan works but the ending does not look well.

5: Venice... the famous Italian city built along canals. | Townsquare... Roderigo was sent here to try and stop the others from fighting where the trouble took place. | Settings

6: Cyprus.... This place is the place where Loborico went for his good cousin. | Mauritania.... Where Othello was ordered to go and Cassio took his place.

7: Introduction - This story takes place in Venice. Iago and Roderigo are talking. Iago tells Roderigo how much he dislikes Othello and plans a plot to destroy Othello's life because he didn't choose Iago to rule after he's gone | Rising Action - Desdemona is found from Iago's saying that she has been kidnapped by Othello. She tells them she wasn't kidnapped and she loves Othello. Iago begins to use Roderigo (who is in love with Desdemona) and Cassio in his plan to cause pain and suffering to Othello | Climax - Iago drowns Othello's mind with lies that Desdemona is in love with Cassio and they are seeing each other. Othello gets super angry with Desdemona and kills her. | Plot

8: Falling Action - Emilia enters the room to tell Othello that Cassio is not dead: she sees Desdemona dead, calls everyone else in the room, tells the truth of Iago's rotten lies, Iago kills her and he runs off only being captured again | Denouement - Roderigo, Emilia, and Desdemona lie dead, all of Iago's doing comes out. Othello then knows that he has basically nothing to live for and he's lost everything so he kills himself. Iago is severely punished for his actions

9: Theme/Moral | - The basic theme of the story is jealousy, greed and revenge. Iago is jealous of everything that Othello has and wants it. Iago doesn't stop until he gets everything and more that Ohello has to show his greed. The most important of all of these is Iago's revenge. Iago wanted revenge because Othello didn't choose him next in line to receive his position. All of these basically come from cruelty and hatred all from Iago, who was the problem in the whole story.

10: One of the modern tales of Othello would be the 2001 movie "O". This movie is a reacted version of the Shakespearean tragedy of Othello. "O" is a story about a high school kid named Odin who deals with the same things that Othello deals with. It has similar characters that do almost the same exact things that happens in Othello. It deals with the same jealousy, greed and revengefulness as in Othello. | Modern Tales

11: - "One that loved to wisely but too well" -Othello - "The robbed that smiles steals something from the thief". -Othello "Reputation, reputation, reputation, oh I have lost my reputation, I have lost the immortal part of myself, and what remains is bestial". - Cassio "Oh, beware, my lord, of jealousy, it is the green eyed monster that doth mock, the meat it feeds on"! -Iago "Tis' neither here nor there" -Emilia | Quotes

12: The character Iago is planning evil plots throughout all of the story. He uses Roderigo's money and jewels to get revenge on Othello and makes it seem as if Desdemona is cheating on him. He uses many tricks that lure Othello into believing this and it actually works. Othello gets boiling mad at Desdemona and kills her. Emilia finally gets to tell Othello the truth, that Iago is false and Desdemona was true, Othello is ashamed of what he has done and kills himself. As others die or get severely injured, Iago's evil plot comes about and the whole story ends in tragedy and discomfort. | Synopsis
