S: P2P Student Ambassadors 2005

BC: DEPARTED | LONDON | 15 JULY 20085

1: LONDON | LONDON | ARRIVED 21 DEC 2011 | June 27, 2006 marked the beginning of a trip I will never forget. People to People ambassadors took me to explore the world of London, Ireland, and Wales

2: I can't believe it!! I am finally going to a place I have dreamed of ever since I was accepted into the People to People Student Ambassadors...a place where I can see castles, Stonehenge, the roman baths, plays and even ride the London eye. London, Ireland, and Wales here I come!!!

4: THE VIEWS OF LONDON Driving around London we discovered the street Harry Potter was recorded on, a monument of war, a building that looked like a castle and a weird looking street light!!

6: THE LONDON EYE.... The largest ferris wheel in the world! The view of London from the London Eye!!!

8: HOUSE OF PARLIAMENT | On the second day of our arrival we visited the House of Parliament. The House of Parliament has Big Ben attached to it and it over looks the harbor.

10: TOWER OF LONDON | London, England | 28 JUNE 2006

11: TOWER OF LONDON Was known for being a fortress, palace, and prison. William the Conqueror established the Tower in 1066!!

13: Stonehenge | Stonehenge One of the worlds most known historical landmarks. Stonehenge was believed to be a way to tell time and season but the actual discovery of what it was used for was never uncovered. The stone to the left is called the heel stone. The heel stone is located northeast of Stonehenge!!

14: Roman Baths | ENGLAND

15: AYRES ROCK/ULURU the world's largest monolith and an Aboriginal sacred site is Australia's most famous natural landmark.

20: CLOSED UNDERGROUND MINE The underground mine was a very new experience. The looked as if they were housed there, they had showers and horses that lived in stalls. When the mine closed down the horses had to be killed because they had never seen the light of day!!

22: THE CARDIFF CASTLE This castle was extremely beautiful. The top is a picture of the gold room (made completely out of gold!!

24: THE CARDIFF CASTLE One of the most beautiful castles I have ever seen. They even book weddings here!!

26: Farewell England... Hello Ireland...

31: A TRIP UP THE MOUNTAIN... The trip up the mountain in the horse drawn carriage was amazing and the view was breath taking. That is until we had to walk the rest of the way because the slope and weight was to much for the horse!

35: IRELAND I will never forget the three days I spent with this Irish family. There home was beautiful and inviting. They cooked for me and I tried something new (Fried Pig Blood) it actually tasted rather good until they told me what I was eating!!!
