FC: Gavin and Juliette Honolulu 2011

 Wedding & Honeymoon Honolulu, Oahu May 20 - May 30, 2011

Down to business at the beach bar!

The view from the private umbrella spot at The Westin Moana Surfrider. We loved the drink service!

 Shore of the Beachcomber.

 Gavin + Juliette Forever

The Happiest Day Of My Life

 The Most Beautiful Day

 Very Much In Love...

 Just The Beginning...

We saw dolphins and turtles while snorkeling We also tried stand up paddle boarding...which is WAY harder than it looks!

Ok, so this was pretty much THE thing I didn't want to miss...a waterfall! We hiked through the rain forest and learned about all the surrounding plant life. It would have been VERY hard to find this hidden gem without a trusty tour guide!

Luxuriously drinking an overpriced Stella at The Pineapple Room (above.) Then, Gavin realizes how many stores there are at the mall (right).

Day Trip To The North Shore Driving over the jagged Ko’olau Mountains to the windward side of the island, our first stop is the fabled Valley of the Temples where we visit the picturesque Byodo Temple located at the base of stunning 2000 foot lush green cliffs.

The Byodo-In Temple was established on June 7, 1968, to commemorate the 100 year anniversary of the first Japanese immigrants to Hawaii. The temple is built entirely without nails. It is a scale replica of a temple in Uji, Japan, that was constructed over 950 years ago. | Bon-sho (Sacred Bell) - It is said that ringing this bell will bring you happiness, blessings, and a long life.

Mokolii, also known among locals as Chinaman’s Hat because of its shape, is a popular spot for taking pictures on Oahu’s windward coast. The small island is located at the north end of Kaneohe Bay, offshore of Kualoa Regional Beach Park.

Then we drove along the scenic shores of Kahana Bay arriving at Laie Point, a great location to observe several native plant species.
