S: Our Minnie-Moon
FC: The happiest days at the Happiest Place | Our Minnie-Moon
Josh and Jessica Tie the Knot and Frolic About February 25, 2011 | In which a bent pot and her bent lid, upon finding one another and engaging in an excessively cautious wait, do finally embark on the that most wondrous state of matrimony and stuff, and celebrate same by gamboling about the parks of Walt Disney World like chubby, chubby lambs...
 Mrs. Beebers | Mr. Beebers
I strongly suspect that we may have gotten married for the sheer fun of getting bride and groom ears. I got mine on the Boardwalk the night before and danced the evening away in them. Josh got his, and we both got them embroidered, at La Chapeau on Main Street the next day. They are a definite must for the fun attention that every newlywed deserves on their honeymoon. | Topping It Off!!!
 If Pirates Got Married...
A castle, some pirates, cool breezes, and sunshine... the recipe for a perfect honeymoon.
 Fantasyland | Fantasyland
Opposite page: Making a wish in the wishing well * Waiting for Belle to read me a story in the upcoming new Fantasyland * A preview of the new land. * ZOMG! Rapunzel stole my wedding dress! Look! This page: Pinnochio and Josh hang out in the current obnoxiously crowded Fantasyland.
Everything was in beautiful bloom and the weather was gorgeous. February is the perfect month in Florida.
The name of Disney's day parade took on new meaning for us as we celebrated a big dream for us: finally being married and beginning our lives together. We got wonderful spots to watch, and many of the characters, seeing our hats, paid us extra tribute as they processed merrily by. | a dream come true...
A lifetime of memories begins with a single day...a single moment | Dear Beebers, I U.
Cinderella Castle, where every girl feels like a princess with her handsome Prince Charming... even two little roly-polies like us. | Cinderella Castle
Disney's Electrical Parade | We were lucky enough to get some really great shots at the parade this time around. Taking pictures of lights at night without a decent camera is challenging, but our location helped. Thanks to some great timing, we scored a spot right on the rope line bordering the place where the floats come out of the barn.
Even without having been more than a couple of times to 'Ohana, we have decided it is one of our favourite places. Great food, and a wonderful atmosphere make this very special and it will always have a place in our hearts after providing our wedding feast. | Aloha, Cousin!
As always, putting up a decent showing in the nosh department was a challenge. The only problem is it's almost TOO much food!
Oh, the sea!!! Even though I miss the old kitsch of The living Seas, one can't help but be charmed by the relatively new nemo theming.
The slowest ride in all the parks, I think. Slow as measured by speed, and slow as measured in thrills, we felt thoroughly relaxed in our lovely greenhouse cruise
Ok, the creepy red light in the fisheries section of Living With The Land is just plain weird. REDRUM!!! REDRUM!!!
By delightful contrast, the cool breezes of the greenhouse tunnels NOT filled with eerily staring doomed fish were a nice break in the surprising (for February) warmth.
The fountains near the Imagination pavilion are a fun and oft-overlooked treasure to explore . | Josh and I had great fun "catching" the upward shooting water droplets.
Ok. Captain EO is hilariously bad and embarrassing to watch, but you have to admit the little cat thing is super cute. That is why I HAD to have him! | Flufferfly!
My newly dubbed "Flufferfly" and me frolicking about Epcot
The Flower and Garden Festival is one of my favourite times of year at Epcot, as it is for many, and we were lucky enough to be there on our honeymoon as the festivities, and decorations, were gearing up. It was like having our own custom wedding garden! | fLOWER TOWER POWER!
Taking a breather beneath the shade of a beautiful flowering tree.
Oh, Duffy, we love you so! They must get the most insanely huggy people to play Duffy, because he is always super cuddly and excited to hug even grown up folks. | Can a guy in a bear suit get a hug? | Yes he can!
"Oh, no!" said the attendant for the Gran Fiesta Tour in Mexico, holding up her hand and smiling at us. "You must have your very own boat! Will be very romantic!" She also loved our shirts, of course immediately getting the joke when we told her where we were married.
In life, it is the little things that
Little moments seemed to pop up everywhere, from spotting the Illuminations globe... | ...an impromptu game of hopscotch, to a spotting a charming container tea garden in the British pavilion. Anyone can ride rides. Finding the treasures at Disney is the real fun. | count...
All in all, we couldn't have had a better honeymoon-or wedding-had we thrown every dollar in the world at it. Ok, maybe renting out a park would have been awesome, but as far as the modest dreams of a weird little broke chubby couple are concerned, this was simple, beautiful, perfect, and just right for us...a bent pot and her bent lid.
