1: "There is only one happiness in this life, to love and be loved"
3: The night Justin proposed was not only a complete shock to me, but he included my family which made it so special. We had been dating long distance for about 11 months. We had planned our annual family trip to Schlitterbahn in New Braunfels, TX. He was to fly in to Houston the day before we left. I was told we were going out to dinner for Jeffrey's birthday since we were going to be out of town that weekend. Mom and myself met Jeffrey, Ashley and baby Abbie at Antonia's Italian Cucina. Mom told me that dad was running late because he had a meeting. He arrived about 15 minutes after we had sat down. I was looking at the menu when someone put a bouquet of flowers down on the table in front of me and said "Excuse me Miss...".I didn't look up and thought to myself, 'What a weirdo". He got down on one knee next to my chair and when I looked over it was Justin! I couldn't believe my eyes. I was just shocked that he was there. Little did I know, dad had gone to pick him up from the airport. He wasn't supposed to be in town until the next day. He then pulled out the most beautiful diamond ring and asked me to marry him. With tears welling up in my eyes, I said YES! My family was taking both video and pictures which were great because it was all such a blur. Looking back, Justin was precious when he forgot to spit out his gum, which only showed how nervous he was. It was a night I will never forget with the people I love the most.

50: Funny Moments
52: Our wedding day was a beautiful sunny day. We had a few set backs like not being able to get my dress snapped closed. Good thing I had my mom and friend Darah there to lace me in. Meanwhile, Justin's tuxedo had been left in the hotel shuttle which had to rush back right before the ceremony. Guests were arriving, pictures were being taken, and the ceremony was ready to start at 6:30 in the evening. Abbie had a close meltdown before she walked down the aisle. Thanks to Grandpa's quick thinking and a white styrofoam cup, he managed to fix everything. I was escorted by my dad down the aisle, past many friends and family that helped and watched me grow into the woman I am today. Justin had the most memorable grin on his face as we reached him at the other end. The ceremony was wonderful and lasted about 30 minutes. It was nice but not free of mishaps and humorous moments. For starters, Justin interrupted Reverend Fenn During our first series of questions with "I Will" about 4 questions too soon. During our vows, I went first but began with" Justin,..." in a very demanding tone. It received a chuckle from the crowd. When it came time to exchange the rings, Pat reached into his pocket and only found one ring. Little did he know, one of them had slipped into a different pocket. His face was covered in panic. Justin also reached for the ring as the preacher was in the middle of speaking about them. The preacher pulled them away quickly. We had beautiful solos sung by Barry Barrios, and a scripture reading by Rebecca Fox. Alas, the kiss was upon us. We locked lips and the shoulder of my dress fell down my arm. Some say it must have been a powerful kiss. I couldn't help but make a silly 'oops' face to the crowd and Justin quickly pulled the strap back onto my shoulder as he checked his watch. The crowd really got a kick out of it all. The preacher even blushed a bit. We followed the ceremony with an amazing reception filled with great food, dancing, and best of all...LOVE! As sad as we were to see the night end, Justin and I were off to Belize for our honeymoon.
53: San Pedro, Belize
57: Our Honeymoon to San Pedro, Belize was an amazing experience. We went for 7 days and it was quite an adventure. We stayed at The Phoenix Resort on Ambergris Caye and it did not disappoint . The amenities were beautiful and right on the ocean. We layed by the pool, soaked up the sun, and let any stress just melt away. We snorkeled in Hol Chan Marine Reserve and Shark Ray Alley with Little Alfonse. We held nurse sharks, touched a sea turtle, and swam in the second largest barrier reef in the world. The underwater views were simply breathtaking. Along the way, we found fellow honeymooners Matt and Nikki Liddy from Chicago. Together we explored the island, ate new things, and snorkeled at Mexico Rocks. The most memorable place we ate at was called Waruguma. I added a picture of the interior. It was a local hole in the wall, but the food was great and the shrimp burrito and papusas were awesome! Justin enjoyed the local Belekin Beer, especially because there weren't many options. From our adventures on secluded beaches to dirt roads, sand flies, golf carts, bull sharks, Coconut Leo, relaxing massages, The Chicken Drop, Maurice the Bartender, or just sunbathing at the resort pool, we couldn't have asked for more. "Don't Stop Belizeing!"
