FC: Our Wedding Day March 11, 2012
"This day I will marry my friend, the one I laugh with, live for, dream with, love."
Trust in the Lord with all your heart...
...and He will direct your paths.
We couldn't wait to see each other... | First Look
This little guy came down from his nest for our ceremony. His mom flew back and forth in the banyan canopy while we exchanged our vows. When the ceremony was over, the little owl climbed back up to his nest. It was as if he was there specifically to witness us make the most important promise of our lives.
 The Girls
 The Guys
 Flower Girls
 Ring Bearers
 I promise...
Our vision for our wedding day was one in which we would honor God in all that we did, we would keep it simple and allow our love for each other shine through, and we would be sure that our guests had a wonderful time.
The happiest day of my life...
Although it rained during part of the ceremony and at the end of cocktail hour, the gardens were beautiful and we had a blast celebrating with family and friends. We feel blessed to be surrounded by so many loved ones.
Our first dance as husband and wife. The song we danced to was "Need You Forever". It was written and recorded by the groom.
Our reception was awesome! We had so much fun and the food was delicious!
One of the funniest moments was when the bride's dad ceremonially cut her meat for "the last time". She had always asked him to cut her meat well into her adult years. This was his way of releasing his little girl to her groom.
 Mother of the Groom
Time for cake!! | The cake was a delicious carrot cake with cream cheese frosting. It was make by a friend of the bride's. Everyone loved it! The bride enjoyed feeding some of the kids like "little birdies".
Our last dance of the evening... | ...surrounded by the people we love the most and a whole lot of bubbles.
Saying goodbye... The day was a blur, but it was the happiest day of our lives....
Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres. Love never fails.
