 Our guests arrive!
Julie and Tom, you have made a very serious and important decision in choosing to marry each other today. You are entering into a sacred covenant as life partners in God. The quality of your marriage will reflect what you put into nurturing this relationship. You have the opportunity to go forward from this day to create a faithful, kind, and tender relationship. We bless you this day. It is up to you to keep the blessings flowing each and every day of your lives together. We wish for you the wisdom, compassion, and constancy to create a peaceful sanctuary in which you can both grow in love. Do you understand and accept this responsibility, and do you promise to do your very best each day to create a loving, healthy, and happy marriage?
I Julie/Tom choose you to be my husband/wife. I will always be faithful to you and be by your side. To laugh with you in times of joy and comfort you in times of sorrow. Wherever our path may lead us, it takes us together. I will respect our differences and do my part to work through our challenges. I will encourage and support you, honor and love you, all the days of my life.
Lord, please bless these rings that Julie and Tom are about to exchange. May these rings forever remind them of their covenant with one another, as well as the circle of love they have publicly created here today. May their compassion and kindness for one another always be like these rings, with no beginning and no end. May the precious metal remind them of their precious commitment. If either begins to tarnish, may they diligently undertake the sacred duty to make it shine brightly again. May their relationship always be like these rings, separate but close, simple but beautiful. May these rings always belong to their hands, and their love always belong in each other's hearts. Amen
With this ring, I thee wed. I pledge my love and faithfulness to you, today, tomorrow, and always. As this ring has no end, neither shall my love for you.
 Movie Love | BFFs
For as long as I can remember, I’ve dreamed of one day having what I’ve always called “movie love.” You know, where you meet someone and in the time it takes you to introduce yourselves, you somehow manage to fall in love. Where, during your initial conversation, you all of the sudden begin to dreamily picture your life with this person and dreadfully try to picture it without them. And where, after just one date, you finally start to believe in all those things that you were once convinced were pure nonsense, made up to give lonely people hope and greeting card companies something to write about. You know, like all that stuff about fate, and destiny, and meant to be? That’s what I call “movie love.” Where, when you’re just barely starting to get to know one another and you find yourself feeling as though your life is just now beginning. That’s movie love. And that’s what I dream of having one day. “But that only happens in movies,” you say. “It’s never like that in real life!” Well it wasn’t all that long ago that I started to believe that; that it couldn’t happen for me, that it’s not realistic. I was finally starting to accept that that kind of love doesn’t exist in the real world. But then came Tom, and now here we are. We witnessed today a wedding rooted in “movie love.” My faith has been restored. Sure, the odds may not be in my favor, but the love that Julie and Tom so clearly have for one another has given me the ability to know that movie love IS possible. With these two, love is not simply a feeling, or an idea, or just some word that gets thrown around. With them you can actually see it. I live with them, so I see the love they have for one another every single day. (I’ve also heard it a time or two, but we won’t talk about that!) I see it in the way they help each other out, and in the way that they look at each other, and simply in the way they support one another and always love each other more each day than they did the day before. This is the real deal. So to mom, congratulations on finally getting it right and finding one of the good ones. Tom, thank you for making my mom so happy. And to both of you, the O’Briens, thank you for keeping my faith in “movie love” alive. I love you guys! Sarah Fitzgerald | Maid of Honor's Speech
I'm so happy I can finally call this man my husband. It's truly a dream come true
Everything I never knew I always wanted
When I said I Do These times are troubled and these times are good And they're always gonna be, they rise and they fall We take 'em all the way that we should Together you and me forsaking them all Deep in the night and by the light of day It always looks the same, true love always does And here by your side, or a million miles away Nothin's ever gonna change the way that I feel, The way it is, is the way that it was When I said I do, I meant that I will 'il the end of all time Be faithful and true, devoted to you That's what I had in mind when I said I do
