BC: Two Fish, One Bowl | Our Story In order to make this wedding happen many special events too place. Ben found me on Plenty of Fish. Our first date was a lunch at Tomahawk's in North Vancouver and a visit to the Vancouver Aquarium (October 24, 2009). Our second date was at this French restaurant called Henry's in a cheesy plaza off King Edward and Oak. Our first trip away was to Seattle. Ben said I love you 6 weeks after we met. I said it back a couple of weeks later. I was moving a lot slower then he was. That changed completely after the 'Pear Tree Incident' He met my parents before Christmas at dim sum and I met his mum for breakfast. We moved in together in April and I knew we were really serious when the cats moved in a month later. We both knew that we would be together. Ben proposed in Bruges, Belgium in October 2010 on our Europe trip (That's another photobook). Ben didn't propose in Paris because he felt it would be too cliché, I have to agree. Mind you, I was the one who said that it would be cliché. Just a few short months later we got married. This book covers what happened the day of and who shared the day with us. There were many of those who weren't able to make it, but they made that day special too. | A Bonnie and Ben Production - Two Tea Cats Inc. Powered by Pekoe & Chai

Suzanne and Anne buttoning me into my dress. Very difficult, 45 minutes later. This was the only time I was feeling stressed and grumpy.
Mummy and Uncle Tommy came up to the room to rest and relax before the wedding. Here's Mum helping me with my necklaces. My Mum was very nervous about walking me down the aisle. At first when I asked her, she said that it wasn't traditional and it should be Uncle Tommy. I said I wanted her to do it because it would mean a lot to me. | The beautiful tennis bracelet that Ben brought back from his trip to Las Vegas. He was on his stag and felt bad that I could go away for my stagette so he was thoughtful and found the bracelet. Cat and Jeff thought it would make a lovely photo with our rings. I have to agree.
Anna, Suzanne, and I stayed at the Westin Bayshore the night before the wedding. We checked in, had our nails done, then had a nice dinner in the hotel. We went to bed at a decent time after a relaxing evening. It made for a wonderful and a relaxing day for us. No stress of rushing around trying to get ready or being late for the venue. This is the view from the room we shared.
Ben stayed the night at the hotel too. His room was on a higher floor and he had a balcony. Ben, Harvey, and Al used Ben's room to get ready.
While we were getting ready upstairs, Leo and his team were making magic with our venue. Turning it into the perfect Spring Wedding with a touch of Paris. Suzanne, Anne, and I had brunch at Currents that very morning. We also saw hockey players eating breakfast there too.
Walking down the aisle and hopping we don't trip. | Mum and Uncle Tommy did great. No collisions against the chairs.
 FAMILY AND FRIENDS LOOKING ON
Ben and I were so nervous standing up there with everyone watching. Both of us are very shy and like to stay out of the limelight. Lorraine Fralin is the most amazing Wedding Commisioner. She made us both feel at ease and her joy and happiness for us carried through out the ceremony.
