1: Officer Installation Brunch April 2010 | Executive Board 2010-2011 | Passing on the presidency

2: Membership Brunch, August 14, 2010 | RPKDAC sisters getting together to plan a great year! | The newest members at the meeting | Some awesome veterans of the meeting!

3: Lovely KD ladies!

4: Painting With a Twist! 09/09/10 | RPKDAC sisters + wine + painting = one fun meeting!

6: Founder's Day | Kathy with guest speaker, Jennifer Bartkowski, Chief Development Officer of Girl Scouts of Northeast Texas, spoke on "Leadership in the 21st Century - Girl Scouts and Kappa Delta."

7: Luncheon 2010 | Emerald (60-year), White Rose (50-year) and Nautilus (25-year) Circle members were recognized and presented with white roses. Members who had received the National Kappa Delta Order of the Pearl or Order of the Emerald awards were acknowledged and given white roses, too.

8: Ever Loyal KD Reception

9: Our reception was hosted by Neva Cochran, while national KD president, Beth Langford, was in town. Sisters pledged to be "ever loyal" to Kappa Delta.

13: Friends of Wednesday's Child Benefit Luncheon | Featured speaker, Leigh Anne Tuohy, joined forces with RPKDAC to raise money for North Texas children in foster care.

14: Christmas Party and | Ornament Exchange 2010

15: Our lovely hostess, Mabsie, with Lois | Health, Love, Happiness | After a soup and salad dinner, we celebrated the season and our sisterhood with an exciting White Elephant ornament exchange!

17: Cookie Exchange 2010 | RPKDAC mothers, daughters, and collegian KDs who were home for break enjoyed time together and home-made cookies!

19: January Meeting 2011 Philanthropy We continued our traditional stuffing of Valentine goodie bags with toys and candy for the children and toiletries for the women who are served by Family Outreach of Richardson/Plano/Collin County. We initiated a new project, sewing pillowcases for ConKerr Cancer's "A Case for Smiles" project.

20: February Meeting 2011

21: Paper goods were collected at the February meeting for City House in Plano, the recipient of our 2009 KD KiDs grant. Philanthropy Chair, Shannon George Knowlton, delivered them to City House and is pictured here with a City House staff member. Most of the items we collected will be going to My Friend's House, an emergency shelter for children.


23: RPKDAC Shamrock was held on March 5th at the Dinner Station. Members and guests got to prepare entrees to take home using ingredients and recipes provided. Completed meals filled large zip bags to be frozen and prepared as needed for quick and easy dinners! A portion of each meal purchased was a donation to Shamrock. In addition, a silent auction for a weekend for four at an East Texas ranch, donated by a member, was launched at the event.

25: Richardson/Plano KD members at the annual pedicure meeting at Polo Nails in Plano for the March 10, 2011 meeting.

26: On Sunday, March 27, 2011, the Plano/Richardson Alumnae Panhellenic Association held their annual Scholarship Luncheon, Fashion Show and Silent Auction at Stonebriar Country Club. In addition to sorority members, high school senior girls who are planning to participate in recruitment in the fall, and their mothers attended. Ten of the girls served as models for the fashion show from Kohl's featuring clothing appropriate for recruitment parties. Auction items were on display for bids with the proceeds benefiting scholarships for senior high school girls. Five young women were introduced as this year's scholarship winners. Six RPKDAC members and one high school senior legacy attended. KD Leanne Justiss, a PRAP member, served on the auction committee.

28: Incoming Board members were installed at the final meeting of the year on April 9, 2011. Proceeds from our Shamrock fundraiser were presented to CityHouse. Dawn Masterson, a member of the Board of Directors for CityHouse, was presented with a check for $2547. The mission of CityHouse is to protect children and strengthen families by helping resolve physical and emotional crises through intervention and prevention services at no cost to clients. The remaining 20% of Shamrock funds raised, $637, was donated to Prevent Child Abuse America.
