FC: Renoir Class 2010-2011

1: Renoir students began the year with Practical Life Homework-many fun meals were enjoyed by our families! We also learned laundry, canning and gardening

2: Fall 2010 CSUS Aquatic Center Team-building Day!

3: First, the swim test. Then, kayaking, team games on land, water bike relays, canoeing, and finally, FREE PLAY! Everyone was exhausted by the time we were done.

5: The Renoir students had a good time showing off for the camera! | "The friends we meet on the path of life make the trip worth while."

6: Everyone worked hard uncovering their bits of the past, piecing together clues from another time...

13: The aim of education should be to teach us rather how to think, than what to think - rather to improve our minds, so as to enable us to think for ourselves, than to load the memory with thoughts of other men.

17: What do you get when you have a bunch of motivated learners and a supportive environment? A fabulous Quadrinomial cube job, that amazed an entire convention of Montessori teachers!

18: Mission Springs Camp in the Santa Cruz Mountains | Ready for another hike

19: Team building on the lawn-it took a lot, but we all worked through it

20: we did a great trust exercise, that had everyone stretching their boundaries

21: Great greenery | Hike, hike hike! | off to explore | after our "native" markings

38: We braved the rain to take a walking tour of Chinatown in San Francisco. Then, off to Blue Man Group-what a great experience!

39: We ended the day with mounds of awesome Chinese food, and a long ride home
