FC: Sajjil S. Arif sixteen years and eight months in review | `1994

1994: May 14th | I don't remembermuch of this day but the story begins here.. -LAHORE, Pakistan

A NEW BEGINNING | 1997: Came to Canada | Though I was 3 years old at the time, I specifically remember moving into my house and thinking that was my very first home.

The day before my first day of school, my Dad gifted me a red dictionary and wished me good luck. Today, looking back at that dictionary every time i search up a word reminds me of that first day. [Symbol] | 2000: Started School

so many | Each memory we keep with care means future happiness to share. | 2000: My Baby Bro | 2006: 2nd Place Speech | my | My interest in writing, speaking, & reading English formed here after I gave my grade 6 speech on bubble gum.

LIVE WELL LAUGH OFTEN LOVE MUCH | 2008: Grade 8 Graduation

2008-2010: The People | This is Iqra, my best friend for life. It sounds cheesy but its true. I met her in grade 9, we had the same math class and we instantly became friends. Its been three years now and if anything, we have just gotten closer and closer. Iqra has definately been a big part of my highschool life. | Zainab, my cousin, is another one of my most closest people. Though we started out on extreme rough terms, we could not be more closer today. She is the one giving me advice on every problem i have yet cracking jokes off them at the same time.

I've met and re-met some of the best friends I have in high school including my reunion with my cousins back home and in Canada, | "The friends we meet on the path of life make the trip worth while." | My sister, Komal, though I hate her more than anything in the world, I could not live without her all the same. She has always given me the best tips on highscool and life in general.

2010: Pakistan & First Job | This trip to Pakistan was definately one of my most memorable experiences, the biggest reason being that I can actually recall it happening. This trip brought me closer to my family once again, it was a lot fun and I got the chance to live the culture I left behind. I cannot wait until the next trip over. | I got my first job at Urban Planet after I came back from my trip to Pakistan. It was a very cool experience being responsible for so little yet so much. I learnt a lot about responsibility and a glimpse of what its like to be in the real world.

{ | { | 2010: G1 | Getting my Driver's License was a very exciting moment for me. I felt grown up and very independent. The best part was knowing that i could drive and that has to be one of the most funnest activities ever. For the while being at least.

2010: Grandpa | My Grandpa passed away late 2010. I can say without a doubt that he was the most funniest and un-stereotypical granddad's ever. This is what made him so special.

The past year of 2010 has been a wild ride of joy, excitement, anticipation, accomplishments, losses, and memories all of which I will cherish for the rest of my life. Beginning a new year I hope this year brings its wonders and creates memories of its own. I feel like I have grown a lot over the past year and i wish to grow some more this year going into higher grades and moving on in my life.
