37: Suzy's 8th birthday began with a Chinese buffet lunch after our field trip to the DPW. On her birthday, Abbey joined us for gifts, cake, and watching James play soccer. Later in the year, she had a scrapbooking party with her friends to celebrate.
38: Seeds of Faith field trip to the Summer Winds Farms Animal Sanctuary.
39: Bob turns 49. See Bob eat pie.
40: James has played AYSO soccer for 6 years. Louis Tisch was his coach for the second year of U10 level play. He is a tireless player and helps his team a lot!
42: This is Suzy's 4th year playing AYSO soccer. She is in the U8 level. She is an energetic and skilled player.
44: Polly Ann Trail
45: We took a lovely summer's day walk on the Polly Ann Trail in Imlay City and finished it off with ice cream cones. The tunnel was a highlight, especially yelling inside it to hear the echoes.
46: Good-bye, Old Tree! | The tree was dying and "they" decided it had to go.
47: Backyard Campfires | A couple times a year, we build a fire in the backyard to roast marshmallows for S'mores. Sitting around the fire together builds memories and we all smell like smoke afterwards!

52: Grandpa's back surgery had complications and we visited him at the rehab center. Grandma invited us to her "pretty place" and we roasted marshmallows with aunties and cousins.
53: Grandma has a stash of great playthings and dress-up is always a huge hit!
54: Visiting Lake Huron is a highlight of our summer. This visit was just our family. We collected rocks, played in the waves, munched on goodies,and fell asleep on the hot sand.

58: First Day | This year on the first day of school, we successfully tried letterboxing! We also had our traditional ice cream sundae lunch.
59: I always set up an ice cream sundae station with all the fixings. The sundaes can be colossal!

64: Seeds of Faith's annual homeschool campout is one of the highlights of our summer. Ten to twelve women gather every month to Rollick!
71: NaNoWriMo, or National Novel Writing Month, is now a tradition for the Wagner family. 2010 was Lisa and David's 4th year and the 3rd year for the other kids. | NaNo WriMo | The goal is, obviously, to write a novel in 30 days. What qualifies? 50,000 words! (Kids can set lower goals.)

If you guys are really us, what number are we thinking of? | Whoa. | That conversation made more sense this time. | Do you know where there are any personages of historical significance around here? | I am the Earl of Preston. And I am the Duke of Ted. | Want a Twinkie, Genghis Khan? | Skylar and David both dressed as Ted.
74: James turned 11 on December 1st. He invited Michael Melillo, Phoenix Moussiaux, Austin Laster, and Colin Koskinen to join him at the Lapeer Community Center for swimming and basketball.
75: Happy 11th Birthday, James!
76: The Wagners and Sengs had Thanksgiving with Grandma and Grandpa Mellon.
78: The kids are old enough now to decorate Christmas cookies independently. And the cookies look better too!
80: Stockings and Buttons | Stockings with Grandma has become a treasured tradition. Every year she chooses just the right button for each child to symbolize their year.The kids eagerly await finding out what the new button symbolizes and cuddle up to Grandma to hear again what all of their buttons mean.
