1: Bad experience | Willner, his mother, and his father, a veteran of the German army from the first World War and holder of the Iron Cross, were detained by the Nazis and eventually imprisoned in Auschwitz. His mother was immediately gassed, but the male Willners were made slave laborers.

2: Good experience | The Germans made Willner and the other prisoners go on a death march, that is where Willner made his escape with six others. Only two of them survived and that was Willner and some dude named Mauritz Swaub. After they escaped they followed the sound of artillery fire and found the 3rd Armored Division Company D, 32nd Regiment.

3: Something unique | The thing I find the most unique about this person was that he never gave up and because of that he escaped the Nazis.

4: The Holocaust | The holocaust was the systematic, bureaucratic, state-sponsored persecution and murder of approximately six million Jews by the Nazi regime and it collaborators. Holocaust is a word of Greek origin meaning "sacrifice by fire." The Nazis, who came to power in Germany in January 1933, believed that Germans were " racially superior" and that the Jews, deemed "inferior," were an alien threat to the so-called German racial community.
