Be | The job is based solely around computer skills and your ability to spot and deal with problems in newly produced products. | Being a Project Tester is a lot different than one would assume...

Laura's job on a weekly basis depends on how hard she works. This will let her know if she will get the weekend off or have to keep working. She also receives small bonuses often when seen working hard. | -She is paid $30,000 per year -The job requires professional dress - Workers can get into the Disney parks whenever they like. -At the work place, they hold classes for anyone who is interested in going into management after a promotion.

The main goal of a Program tester is to report the major defects found in the program given and report it back to the creator. This requires a mass amount of communication all day long; they even developed an instant messaging program specifically for the programmer and the tester to talk. | There is not much creativity used for this job. The only thing my mentor could think of is when she has to explain herself to the programmer. There might not be a glitch, but something that a user would not like.

This job, as you have probably already figured out, is based completely around computer technology. The job before the computer was non-existent. There would never be a need for a program tester, if there were never a program to test. | Disney uses many of the programs we work with here at school. Take Excel for example, they use it during their once a day meeting to graph out progress and working ability.

Math, believe it or not, is a major roll in this type of job. Seeing as they are always testing "Guest Services" programs they have to constantly create fake prices and room to charge. This is the only way to tell if the program is working correctly. They also have to have the math already mapped out to match the computer. | You do not have to be physically fit in anyway to have this job. As long as you have a strong mind and hands to type, you can work.
