2: Solar Energy Solar energy is the sun's rays that reach the Earth. This energy can be converted into other forms of energy, such as heat and electricity.

4: Wind power is the conversion of wind energy into a useful form of energy, such as using wind turbines to make electricity, wind mills for mechanical power, wind pumps for pumping water or drainage, or sails to propel ships.

6: Hydrogen Energy | Hydrogen is the simplest element. Each atom of hydrogen has only one proton. It is also the most plentiful gas in the universe.

7: Geothermal The word geothermal comes from the Greek words geo (earth) and therme (heat). So, geothermal energy is heat from within the Earth. We can recover this heat as steam or hot water and use it to heat buildings or generate electricity. ex. Volcano's

8: Hydro Energy | Hydro energy is simply energy that is taken from water and converted to electricity.

9: Ocean energy would work by using kinetic energy (movement) that exists in the moving waves of the ocean. That energy can be used to power a turbine, the wave rises into a chamber. The rising water forces the air out of the chamber. The moving air spins a turbine which can turn a generator.
